大統領 勧めるs Kenyans to pray for rain to 緩和する extreme 干ばつ
With the prospect of a sixth 連続した failed 雨の season in the east and Horn of Africa, Kenya’s 大統領，／社長 is hoping the heavens will finally open with the help of a 国家の day of 集まり 祈り on Tuesday.
William Ruto 発表するd the 計画（する）s for the country’s first ever day of 祈り on Sunday at a service in the 干ばつ-stricken city of Nakuru, some 100 miles from the 資本／首都 Nairobi.
It follows a 共同の call by the country’s spiritual leaders to dedicate an entire day to 祈り to 緩和する 干ばつ 条件s in the nation.
Mr Ruto’s own ambitious 経済的な 復活 戦略 for the country is also 扶養家族 on a successful 雨の season.
“As a 政府 we have 始める，決める out (a)手の込んだ／(v)詳述する 計画（する）s for food 安全, we have seeds, ample fertiliser, and water 収穫ing 戦略s 含むing dams.
“We now need God to send us the rain,” Mr Ruto said.
“I 勧める all people from all 約束s … to pray for our country.”
Kenya and other east African nations have been experiencing some of the worst 干ばつ 条件s in １０年間s, 原因（となる）ing 刈る 失敗, loss of livestock, 野性生物 and biodiversity, and 栄養不良. 国内の 農業 is a large part of Kenya’s economy.
