No 計画(する)s to change 法律 封鎖するing Elgin Marbles from 存在 given to Greece - Sunak

Rishi Sunak has said there are “no 計画(する)s” to change a 法律 which 封鎖するs the Elgin Marbles from 存在 given to Greece.

The 総理大臣 said the UK had “cared for” the sculptures in the British Museum for 世代s and they were “株d with the world” at the London 場所/位置.

Athens has long 需要・要求するd the return of the Parthenon Sculptures, which were 除去するd from Greece by Lord Elgin in the 早期に 19th century, when he was the British 外交官/大使 to the Ottoman Empire.

Speaking to reporters during a trip to San Diego in the US, Mr Sunak said: “The UK has cared for the Elgin Marbles for 世代s.

“Our galleries and museums are 基金d by taxpayers because they are a 抱擁する 資産 to this country.

“We 株 their treasures with the world, and the world comes to the UK to see them.

“The collection of the British Museum is 保護するd by 法律, and we have no 計画(する)s to change it.”

British Museum chairman George Osborne, the former (ドイツなどの)首相/(大学の)学長, has said he is 調査するing ways for the Elgin Marbles to be 陳列する,発揮するd in Greece.
