Junior doctors 開始する picket lines as five-day strike begins

Junior doctors have 開始する,打ち上げるd a five-day strike in what is 存在 述べるd as the longest ストライキ of its 肉親,親類d in the NHS’s history まっただ中に 現在進行中の 抗議するs over 支払う/賃金 in the health service.

Members of the British 医療の 協会 (BMA) in England 機動力のある picket lines outside hospitals from 7am at the start of the ストライキ, which will 原因(となる) 抱擁する disruption, 影響する/感情ing 操作/手術s and 協議s.

Members of the union 部隊 at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital 信用 in London are also striking over 支払う/賃金 on Thursday, while hospital 顧問s and radiographers will take 産業の 活動/戦闘 later this month.

The strike s are 存在 held まっただ中に 憶測 the 政府 will say if it is going to 受託する 推薦s from 支払う/賃金 review 団体/死体s 影響する/感情ing public 部門 労働者s 含むing teachers, civil servants and NHS 労働者s.

There is 憶測 that the 団体/死体s have recommended rises of between 6% and 6.5%.

There will be 新たにするd 怒り/怒る from unions if the 政府 拒絶するs the 推薦s or says money will have to be 設立する from 存在するing 予算s.

BMA leaders 勧めるd the 政府 to return to the 交渉するing (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する in a 企て,努力,提案 to 解決する the long-running 列/漕ぐ/騒動, which has already led to a 一連の strikes and thousands of cancelled 操作/手術s and 協議s.

BMA leaders Dr Robert Laurenson and Dr Vivek Trivedi said: “Today 示すs the start of the longest 選び出す/独身 ストライキ by doctors in the NHS’s history, but this is still not a 記録,記録的な/記録する that needs to go into the history 調書をとる/予約するs.

“We can call this strike off today if the UK 政府 will 簡単に follow the example of the 政府 in Scotland and 減少(する) their nonsensical 必須条件 of not talking whilst strikes are 発表するd and produce an 申し込む/申し出 which is 信頼できる to the doctors they are speaking with.

“The 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 on the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する to junior doctors in Scotland and how it was reached throws into sharp 救済 the obstinate approach 存在 taken by the 総理大臣 and the Health 長官, Steve Barclay.

“The Health 長官 has said there can be no 会談 while strikes are planned ? Scotland has 証明するd him wrong. He said above 5% wasn’t 現実主義の ? Scotland 証明するd him wrong. He 辞退するd to even 認める the 概念 of 支払う/賃金 復古/返還 ? Scotland 証明するd this is not only possible but 必須の.”

The BMA leaders said 会談 have to be 再開するd, 追加するing: “The 政府’s 拒絶 to talk with junior doctors in England who have strikes planned is out of keeping with all norms of 産業の 活動/戦闘.

“Doctors have a 権利 to 推定する/予想する that as in Scotland, and as in many other 最近の 産業の 論争s, 会談 will continue 権利 up to the last minute to try and reach a 取引,協定 without the need to strike.

“The 完全にする inflexibility we see from the UK 政府 today is baffling, 失望させるing and 最終的に destructive for everyone who wants waiting 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s to go 負かす/撃墜する and NHS staffing numbers to go up.

“The 政府 has 行方不明になるd chance after chance to 供給する a 信頼できる 申し込む/申し出 and 潜在的に bring to an end the 産業の 活動/戦闘 by junior doctors in England and whilst there are differences between junior doctors and 政府s in England and Scotland, the UK 政府 has far more 財政上の freedom to give doctors what they deserve.”

The 衝撃 of these 論争s is fraying the fabric of the NHS, held together by a unique sense of かかわり合い and 株d endeavour across the 全労働人口 that has served it so 井戸/弁護士席 over so many years
Saffron Cordery, NHS Providers

NHS 供給する rs has 勧めるd both 味方するs to 再開する 会談 in a 企て,努力,提案 to を回避する more 産業の 活動/戦闘.

副 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Saffron Cordery said: “The 衝撃 of these 論争s is fraying the fabric of the NHS, held together by a unique sense of かかわり合い and 株d endeavour across the 全労働人口 that has served it so 井戸/弁護士席 over so many years. We lose that at our 危険,危なくする.

“The disruption for many thousands of 患者s and the 可能性のある 害(を与える) of 延期するing their 治療 is a 抱擁する and growing 危険 for the NHS to manage.

“信用s will hardly have time to draw breath after a five-day ストライキ by junior doctors before 顧問s strike for two days, followed by a two-day strike by radiographers.

“The 支配 影響 of repeated waves of 産業の 活動/戦闘 is eroding the 根底となる 関係 between 信用 leaders and their staff.

“信用 leaders understand the strength of feeling の中で striking staff, who they value and work with for 患者s every day, and why they are taking 活動/戦闘. 信用s will continue to do everything they can to 限界 disruption and keep 患者s 安全な but that’s getting harder and more expensive with every strike as the cost of 雇うing cover grows, and with staff 不満 増加するing as 論争s remain 未解決の.

This five-day ストライキ by junior doctors will have an 衝撃 on thousands of 患者s, put 患者 safety at 危険 and 妨害する 成果/努力s to 削減(する) NHS waiting 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s
Health and Social Care 長官 Steve Barclay

“Eight 連続した months of 産業の 活動/戦闘 across the NHS are taking their (死傷者)数 not just on 患者s, with more than 651,000 決まりきった仕事 手続きs and 任命s 軍隊d to be 繰り延べるd, but on already overstretched services ? 妨害するing 成果/努力s to 削減(する) waiting 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s.”

Health and Social Care 長官 Steve Barclay said: “It is disappointing that the BMA is going ahead with その上の strike 活動/戦闘. This five-day ストライキ by junior doctors will have an 衝撃 on thousands of 患者s, put 患者 safety at 危険 and 妨害する 成果/努力s to 削減(する) NHS waiting 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s.

“We were in discussions about 支払う/賃金 and a 範囲 of other 対策 to 改善する the working lives of junior doctors until their 代表者/国会議員s 崩壊(する)d the 交渉s by 発表するing その上の strikes. A 支払う/賃金 需要・要求する of 35% or more is 不当な and 危険s fuelling インフレーション, which makes everyone poorer.

“Earlier this week I held a 一連の会議、交渉/完成する (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する with doctors in training to talk about other 重要な 問題/発行するs that 影響する/感情 them so we can work together to make the NHS a better place for all. We recently published the first ever NHS Long 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 全労働人口 計画(する) which 含むs 対策 to better support staff, 改善する training and 二塁打 the number of 医療の school places by 2031.

“If the BMA shows 乗り気 to move 意味ありげに from their 現在の 支払う/賃金 需要・要求するs and 取り消すs these 損失ing and 破壊的な strikes, we can get around the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する to find a fair 取引,協定 to 解決する this 論争.”

Dr Simon Steddon, 長,指導者 医療の officer at London’s Guy’s and St Thomas’s, said: “On に代わって of our 患者s and staff we are again asking the 政府 and unions to get 支援する 一連の会議、交渉/完成する the 交渉するing (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する and bring an end to these incredibly 損失ing strikes.

“The cumulative 衝撃 of this 長引かせるd period of strike 活動/戦闘 by different professional 団体/死体s is now 抱擁する. To date, at our 信用 alone we have already had to 取り消す or 繰り延べる around 55,000 outpatient 任命s and nearly 6,000 planned 手続きs.

“Thousands more will need to be cancelled over the next couple of weeks 追加するing to the 重要な 延期する, inconvenience and the inherent 危険 of その上の 延期する to diagnosis and 治療.

“With this picture 存在 replicated across the country, these strikes are having a 破滅的な 衝撃 on 患者s.

We 絶対 尊敬(する)・点 the 権利 of any 同僚 to take 産業の 活動/戦闘, and we know that many are doing this as a last 訴える手段/行楽地, but these 現在進行中の strikes 簡単に cannot continue and we would 勧める all parties to find a way to end to them as soon as possible
Dr Simon Steddon, London's Guy's and St Thomas's

“Many people whose 任命s or procedu res are 存在 cancelled will have experienced this on 多重の occasions, which is incredibly 苦しめるing for our 患者s, and their friends and families.

“Strikes also have a 抱擁する physical and emotional 衝撃 on our staff. The weeks before strikes are 吸収するd by reorganising services, 交渉するing staffing cover, making 取り消しs and rebooking 患者s. The 返答 is exhausting and the weeks after are spent catching up on pent-up 需要・要求する, while trying to 許す appropriate 残り/休憩(する) and 回復 for staff.

“We 絶対 尊敬(する)・点 the 権利 of any 同僚 to take 産業の 活動/戦闘, and we know that many are doing this as a last 訴える手段/行楽地, but these 現在進行中の strikes 簡単に cannot continue and we would 勧める all parties to find a way to end to them as soon as possible.”

The 信用 構成するs five hospitals ? Guy’s Hospital, St Thomas’s Hospital, 王室の Brompton Hospital, Harefield Hospital and Evelina London Children’s Hospital. It also 供給するs community services in Lambeth and Southwark.

? 投票ing by YouGov showed public support for strikes has remained 一貫した since the beginning of the year.
