Nato could have sent a stronger signal on ウクライナ共和国´s 未来 - Iain Duncan Smith

Nato 同盟(する)s could have “been more 肯定的な” about ウクライナ共和国’s 未来 within the 同盟, a 保守的な former 大臣 has said.

Tory former leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith told the ありふれたs he was “わずかに sorry” Nato was not able to send ウクライナ共和国 “a stronger signal about its 未来 with regards to Nato”.

Sir Iain was speaking as MPs 審議d the 政府’s 活動/戦闘 on the war in ウクライナ共和国.

The Tory former party leader 追加するd: “I think we could have been more 肯定的な… And America and Germany 特に stood in the way of the general mood of the 会議 to 申し込む/申し出 more to ウクライナ共和国.

“I know we co uldn’t have probably brought them in すぐに and everyone harped on about Article Five 存在 the problem here because it committed people to go to war. It does no such thing by the way. It’s always 価値(がある) reading these things before you ever pronounce on them.

“Article Five does not commit the nations in Nato to go 直接/まっすぐに to war, what it commits them to do is to agree together that they will take 活動/戦闘 as they みなす necessary.”

During the ありふれたs 審議, MPs gave their support to a backbench 動議 which called on the 政府 to “continue and 加速する its support for the Ukrainian 武装した 軍隊s” and to 公式文書,認める 警告s from the Foreign 事件/事情/状勢s Select 委員会 about the 役割 of dirty money in the war.

The cross-party 委員会 last year said the 政府 was not taking enough 活動/戦闘 on the flow of illicit cash through London, which could be used to 基金 Russia’s war 成果/努力 in ウクライナ共和国.

勧めるing the 政府 to 掴む, not just 凍結する, ロシアの 資産s, Sir Iain said: “We may yet 勝利,勝つ the war, but that’s no good if what we leave behind is a 爆撃する of a country, incapable of 操作/手術, 僕主主義, or even 経済的な 井戸/弁護士席-存在. So, winning the peace is as 決定的な and we need to be planning for that now.

“And they did that during the Second World War. It’s 価値(がある) reminding ourselves that by the time the end of the war was there, they were very (疑いを)晴らす what they were going to do.

“Which brings me therefore to this point, whether it’s Nato, whether it’s an 同盟 of the G7 or whoever, it is important that we form a 圏 in these 事柄s and agree this.”

影をつくる/尾行する 外務省 大臣 Catherine West said 大臣s needed to 確実にする their 計画(する)s to 取り組む illicit 財政/金融 were 基金d into the 未来, and called on them to “確実にする that the 計画(する) has necessary 基金ing to 確実にする that public 投資s matches the 規模 of the challenge that we 直面する.”

Foreign Office 大臣 Anne -Marie Trevelyan told the ありふれたs: “Members rightly want to see continued 許可/制裁s while we are in this very difficult time, 資産 凍結するs and travel 禁止(する)s.

“But I was proud to bring in new 法律制定 just last week which will now enable 許可/制裁s to be 持続するd until Moscow 支払う/賃金s 補償(金) for the 再建 of ウクライナ共和国, and indeed a 大勝する developed for Ukrainian 再建.

“We will of course be also creating a 大勝する to 許す individuals to 任意に を引き渡す those 資産s of theirs which are presently frozen into a 基金 to support 再建.

“That will be a one way ticket. If they feel like they have realised the error of their ways, this will be an 適切な時期 for them to do so.”
