US `serious about 囚人 交流´ for reporter held in Russia

US 大統領 Joe Biden has said he is serious about 追求するing a 囚人 交流 for a 塀で囲む Street 定期刊行物 reporter who has been 拘留するd in Russia for more than 100 days.

“I’m serious on a 囚人 交流,” said Mr Biden, who was 結論するing a five-day visit to Europe that took him to the UK, Lithuania and Finland.

“And I’m serious about doing all we can to 解放する/自由な Americans 存在 不法に held in Russia or anywhere else for that 事柄, and that 過程 is under way.”

Mr Gershkovich was 逮捕(する)d on スパイ 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s in the city of Yekaterinburg while on a 報告(する)/憶測ing trip. He is 存在 held at Moscow’s 厳しい Lefortovo 刑務所,拘置所. A Moscow 法廷,裁判所 recently upheld a 判決,裁定 to keep him in 保護/拘留 until August 30.

Mr Gershkovich and his 雇用者 否定する the 主張s, and the US 政府 has 宣言するd him to be wrongfully 拘留するd. 当局 in Russia have not 供給するd any 証拠 to support the スパイ 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s.

She said she had received a letter from her brother this week.

One silver lining of the 100th day marker, she said, was the publicity and attention for her brother.

“Seeing Evan’s 直面する in the news was just really heartening. At such a dark time, it’s wonderful to see his 直面する again,” she said.
