How will the regulator´s cash 貯金 活動/戦闘 計画(する) help savers?

貯金 providers will have to 証明する to the 財政上の 行為/行う 当局 that they are 申し込む/申し出ing fair value, the regulator has said.

Here is a look at how the FCA’s 活動/戦闘 計画(する) will support the cash 貯金 market:

The FCA has 始める,決める out a 14-point 活動/戦闘 計画(する) to make sure 貯金 率s are 存在 passed on 適切な.

As part of the 活動/戦闘 計画(する), the regulator will 要求する 会社/堅いs 申し込む/申し出ing the lowest 率s to 供給する “fair value” 査定/評価s under the 消費者 義務 by August 31 2023.

It will take “強健な 活動/戦闘” by the end of 2023 against those who cannot 論証する fair value.

? What else is part of the 活動/戦闘 pla n?

The FCA will review the タイミング of 会社/堅いs’ 貯金 率 changes each time there is a base 率 change.

The Bank of England base 率 現在/一般に stands at 5% and it is 推定する/予想するd to 潜在的に rise again on Thursday.

会社/堅いs should support 顧客s to start a 貯金 habit and find decent 率s.

They should also be closely 監視するing how 効果的に they communicate with 顧客s, with bigger 会社/堅いs 供給するing the FCA with an evaluation by end 2023 and any follow-up 活動/戦闘 they are taking.

? How does the 消費者 義務 fit into this?

The new 消費者 義務 (機の)カム into 軍隊 on Monday July 31.

It 始める,決めるs higher and clearer 基準s of 消費者 保護 across 財政上の services.

Un der the 義務, 会社/堅いs will have to 供給する 製品s which are fit for 目的, 申し込む/申し出 fair value and work as the 顧客 推定する/予想するs.

会社/堅いs should also be able to explain and 正当化する their pricing 決定/判定勝ち(する)s under the 義務.

The new?義務?has come into 軍隊 for new and 存在するing 製品s and services that are open for sale or 再開.

It will be introduced on July 31 next year for の近くにd 製品s or services.

It means that 貯金 providers should now be using fair value 査定/評価s of on-sale 貯金 製品s, to 保証する themselves and the FCA, where needed, that these 代表する fair value for 顧客s.

It will also review the 有効性 of 会社/堅いs’ 約束/交戦 with 顧客s by the end of March 2024 and take 活動/戦闘 if 会社/堅いs have not 効果的に 配達するd the appropriate 結果s.
