Calls have been made to review 安全 対策 around the 場所/位置 of the Oireachtas, on Kildare Street, in Dublin city centre.

Sean O Fearghail, the (衆議院の)議長 of the Irish 議会’s lower house, the Dail, said the 抗議するs were “特に vile and vicious”.

演説(する)/住所ing 組み立てる/集結するd 議会人s in the Dail 議会, he said: “We talk about attacks on 政治家,政治屋s but 1,200 people work here. 220 of us are 政治家,政治屋s. The people that 苦しむd 乱用 yesterday (機の)カム from all walks of life, civil servants, political staff, political 助言者s, 新聞記者/雑誌記者s, the whole spectrum and what happened was 特に vile and vicious.

“The people who are 伴う/関わるd in that 申し込む/申し出 nothing of any 利益 to any 原因(となる) they might espouse, however worthwhile or 疑わしい, more likely to be 疑わしい, the 原因(となる) that they serve.”

We can never see again what happened outside yesterday because it is an attack on 僕主主義
Sean O Fearghail

He said the Oireachtas has engaged with the commissioner of the Irish police service An Garda Siochana over the 事柄 and 追加するd that a taskforce on 安全な 参加 in public life was 設立するd in May 2022, 議長,司会を務めるd by former Garda commissioner Noirin O’Sullivan.

“They’re 会合 today and they will come up with a 始める,決める of, I hope, implementable 提案s by the end of December. We can never see again what happened outside yesterday because it is an attack on 僕主主義 and if unchallenged and 許すd to proceed, it will bring us to a point that we saw in the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs in the 影響 of the last 大統領の 選挙. So it can’t be 許すd to continue.”

上院議員 Jerry Buttimer, Cathaoirleach of the Irish par liament’s upper house, the Seanad, said he could not get 支援する into Leinster House 予定 to 抗議する人s after …に出席するing the funeral of a former 同僚.

He said “there could have been a Jo Cox moment” and called for a policing 計画(する) around the 周辺 of Leinster House.

独立した・無所属 Kerry TD Michael Healy Rae said his 20-year-old US 抑留する, who was on the first day of her programme, was “押すd, 押し進めるd”.

He called it “disgraceful behaviour” and said it was “not 権利”.

He said: “This is the funny thing: everybody is 説, ‘What 正確に/まさに were they 抗議するing about?’ Because all I saw were people jumping up and 負かす/撃墜する, using horrible, bad language that should not be used in any form of 抗議する and there was no coherent message from them.

“It was like a 集会 of people who just 手配中の,お尋ね者 to 侮辱.

“Everybody is scratching their 長,率いるs and 説, ‘What 正確に/まさに is their message?’ Whatever they did want to do, they didn’t 正確に/まさに do it very 効果的に because 政府 don’t know what they 手配中の,お尋ね者… because they 現実に didn’t make a call.”

Mr Buttimer said there should be a “sterile area” around the streets where members and staff of the Oireachtas can move in and out, but also 許す for 平和的な 抗議する.

“My 関心 is (about) members of staff, those who work in the 議会の community of Leinster House, and members,” he told RTE’s Morning Ireland.

“Yesterday, members (and) staff were 妨げるd from doing their work and from carrying out their 義務s. We live in a 共和国 and the 投票(する) box is our answer to those people yesterday ? you can give people a 委任統治(領) or not.”

He 追加するd: “People come out every day 抗議するing in a very fair and a very personal way and make their points 明確に, but yesterday was an attack on all of our 僕主主義.

“It wasn’t about a 政党 or a 政府, it was about the 会・原則s of the 明言する/公表する.

“I’ve been (at Leinster House for) 16 years, I’ve never 証言,証人/目撃するd the behaviour and the thuggery of yesterday and thankfully, because of the proactivity of members of An Garda Siochana, there was nobody 本気で 負傷させるd or 傷つける or even killed .”

法務大臣 Helen McEntee said Wednesday’s demonstration has “絶対 no place in a democratic society”.

Ms McEntee told RTE 無線で通信する: “What became very (疑いを)晴らす throughout the day is that those people who (機の)カム to Leinster House, be it the 前線 or the 支援する, were not there to engage, they were not there to make a point or to get across a message or to try and engage in a democratic way.

“They were there 簡単に to be 積極的な, to 脅迫してさせる not just ourselves as elected 代表者/国会議員s, not just the gardai but also the people who are working in Leinster House.

“People turned up with gallows with pictures and effigies and really, this has 絶対 no place in a democratic society. What I would say is, I think, the gardai dealt with a very difficult 状況/情勢, we know at the end of the day there were 13 逮捕(する)s, that’s 明白に now before the 法廷,裁判所s.”

She said those 伴う/関わるd do not 代表する a 大多数 of people.

Ms McEntee 追加するd: “It cannot be the 状況/情勢 that something like this is 許すd to happen, or that it is 許すd to continue in this way.”

She said she was not worried for her own safety as she was aware gardai had a 計画(する) in place.

“If more needs to be done in putting new 計画(する)s, new 対策 in place then that will be done ? but for the most part, these types of 抗議するs are 平和的な,” she 追加するd.

大臣 for 住宅 Darragh O’Brien said 抗議するs were welcome at Leinster House but 述べるd Wednesday’s scenes as “thuggish behaviour”.

He said he 手配中の,お尋ね者 to thank Oireachtas staff and An Garda Siochana for their 返答.

“They went above and beyond, let’s be straight about it.”

Mr O’Brien 追加するd: “To have a 状況/情勢 whereby people are 妨げるd from going into the Houses of the Oireachtas, where people are going about their 議会の 商売/仕事, is an attack on 僕主主義.”
