Union 述べるs final 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 to school staff as `too little, too late´

The largest union 代表するing school staff in Scotland has 述べるd what 会議 leaders said was their “best and final” 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 to 労働者s, to 避ける strikes next week, as “too little, too late”.

The 条約 of Scottish 地元の 当局 (Cosla) said its “意味ありげに 改善するd in-year 申し込む/申し出” would mean 労働者s on the Scottish 地元の 政府 living 行う see an in-year uplift of about £2,000, or almost 10%.

But Unison, one of three unions 伴う/関わるd in the 交渉s, said strikes will go ahead as it has 拒絶するd the 取引,協定.

It means school staff 含むing cleaners and 管理人s will walk out for three days from Tuesday.

We cannot agree to a 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 that will result in その上の 削減(する)s to our members' 職業s and the services they 供給する

In a 声明 Cosla 資源s spokeswoman Katie Hagmann said she was “極端に disappointed” Unison had 拒絶するd the 最新の 申し込む/申し出 and 設立する their 活動/戦闘s to be “全く 容認できない”.

However the union (人命などを)奪う,主張するs the 広大な 大多数 of 地元の 政府 staff are only 存在 申し込む/申し出d 0.5% more than Cosla’s 初めの 申し込む/申し出, which was made almost six months ago and was 拒絶するd by members.

It also says a かかわり合い to 支払う/賃金 the lowest paid 労働者s £15 per hour is “too vague”, and because no new money has been 設立する to 基金 the 改善するd 申し込む/申し出 it will “必然的に lead to more 削減(する)s to 職業s and services”.

Unison Scotland 長,率いる of 地元の 政府, Johanna Baxter, said: “This 改訂するd 申し込む/申し出 is far too little, too late. Strikes will therefore proceed next week. We cannot agree to a 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 that will result in その上の 削減(する)s to our members’ 職業s and the services they 供給する.

“It has taken Cosla six months to send us a 改訂するd 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 which, for the 広大な 大多数 of staff, is an 増加する of only 0.5% in-year. These are not 井戸/弁護士席-paid staff, they are on いっそう少なく than the Scottish 普通の/平均(する) 行う and it is 簡単に not 許容できる.

“Far from learning the lessons of last year’s 論争 the 状況/情勢 has been worse this year, 原因(となる)d その上の 延期する to 地元の 政府 労働者s’ 支払う/賃金 during a cost-of-living 危機 and created 不確定 for parents.

“This is no way to 行為/行う 産業の relations.”

Chairman of Unison Scotland’s 地元の 政府 委員会, 示す Ferguson, said: “The 申し込む/申し出 is still below the 率 of インフレーション, meaning that 地元の 政府 労働者s are, once again, 存在 asked to take a real-条件 支払う/賃金 削減(する) which they can ill afford during a cost-of-living 危機.

“Our members have been left waiting for an 改善するd 支払う/賃金 申し込む/申し出 for months after their 支払う/賃金 uplift was 予定, and 権利 up until the eve of 集まり school 終結s, whilst Cosla and the Scottish 政府 have prevaricated over who will find the 付加 money needed to 基金 any 改善するd 申し込む/申し出 and where the money will come from.”
