Sunak 辞退するs to criticise Braverman over homelessness comments

Rishi Sunak has 辞退するd to criticise the Home 長官’s (人命などを)奪う,主張する that rough sleeping is いつかs a “lifestyle choice” but stopped short of repeating her comments.

The 総理大臣, who visited the Bacton Gas 終点 in Norfolk on Monday, was 圧力(をかける)d on whether such language was “不快な/攻撃” after another 上級の 閣僚 大臣 distanced herself from Suella Braverman’s 発言/述べるs.

“That’s why the 政府 is 投資するing £2 billion over the next few years to 取り組む homelessness and rough sleeping. I’m pleased that the number of people sleeping rough is 負かす/撃墜する by a third since the 頂点(に達する), but of course there is more to do.

“Our Homelessness 削減 行為/法令/行動する, which is a 目印 法律 that we passed, has already 確実にするd that over 600,000 people have had their homelessness 妨げるd or relieved. So I’m proud of that 記録,記録的な/記録する.

“But of course there is more to do and we’ll keep going so that nobody has to sleep rough on our streets.”

“We will always support those who are genuinely homeless,” Mrs Braverman said.
