Sunak´s patience `worn thin´ by Rwanda 計画(する) 延期するs

Rishi Sunak said the 政府 is “finalising” 法律制定 to 押し進める through his “決定的な” Rwanda 亡命 計画(する) as his “patience is worn thin” by 延期するs.

The 総理大臣 met Rwanda’s 大統領,/社長 Paul Kagame on the sidelines of the Cop28 気候 会談 in Dubai, although 負かす/撃墜するing Street said it was a “小衝突-by” that lasted no more than 10 minutes.

The 総理大臣 主張するd that Mr Kagame remained committed to the 取引,協定 and it would soon be finalised.

At a 圧力(をかける) 会議/協議会 in Dubai?he said: “We have a 深い 共同 with Rwanda, which he’s committed to, as am I.”

He 追加するd: “We’re finalising the 手はず/準備 we have with them. It was good to check in with him on that and 繰り返し言う both of our かかわり合い to making the 共同 work.

“Paul and I have (1)偽造する/(2)徐々に進むd a very strong 関係 over this 問題/発行する. He’s keen to work very constructively with us, we’re keen to work very constructively with them.

“This is such a 決定的な 問題/発行する for the UK so it’s important that we get the 詳細(に述べる)s of all of this 権利.”

He said he looked 今後 to bringing the 提案s before 議会 and the British public “soon”.

Earlier, he told 放送者s?the goal is to “make sure that 議会 can 宣言する unequivocally” that Rwanda is a 安全な place to operationalise the 計画/陰謀.

Once 断言するd by 議会, he said, “there should be no more 国内の 封鎖するs to us putting in place this programme”.

“But I’ve also been (疑いを)晴らす that I won’t 許す a foreign 法廷,裁判所 to 封鎖する us from flights taking off.

“My patience is worn thin, the British people’s patience is worn thin.

“And although we’ve made 広大な/多数の/重要な 進歩 on this 問題/発行する ? 減ずるing the number of small boat crossings by a third this year, something that everyone thought was impossible when I got this 職業 ? we’ve got more to go.

“I want to finish the 職業 and that’s why I’ll get the Rwanda 計画/陰謀 up and running.”

Mr Sunak ducked questions on whether there is a 限界 to how much he would spend. The 計画/陰謀 would have a “決定的な” deterrent 影響, he told reporters travelling with him, 追加するing: “If we can get that 権利, it will literally save us billions in the long run, so that is the 権利 焦点(を合わせる).”

The 政府’s hope of sending 亡命 探検者s who arrive in the UK 不法に to Rwanda is a 重要な plank of Mr Sunak’s 誓約(する) to stop small boat crossings of the English Channel.

Asked how far he would go on the ECHR, Mr Sunak said: “I am 完全に 確信して, everything that we are doing 従うs with our international 義務s.”
