Yousaf (刑事)被告 of `ignoring´ 警告s over hate 罪,犯罪 法律

Scotland’s First 大臣 has been (刑事)被告 of “ignoring” 警告s over the 衝撃 of a new hate 罪,犯罪 法律.

In a letter to the 犯罪の 司法(官) 委員会 at Holyrood published this week, the 協会 of Scottish Police Superintendents (ASPS) 警告するd the 法律 could be “weaponised” by an “行動主義者 fringe” across the political spectrum.

Mr Yousaf said: “O f course we take 本気で what was said by the Scottish Police 連合, ASPS or any other 代表者/国会議員 organisation 代表するing police officers.

“But I think it is 現職の on me to say that the new offences in relation to stirring up are hugely important.

“Those stirring up offences for racial 憎悪 have 存在するd since 1986, we are 簡単に 延長するing those 保護s to other groups.”

答える/応じるing, Mr Ross said: “The problem is, First 大臣, people will not be 保護するd if the police cannot do their 職業.

“We have 警告s week after week from officers on the 前線 line, from the Police 連合 and now from the 協会 of Scottish Police Superintendents.

“They are giving as stark a 警告 as possible to this SNP 政府 that the 法案 is 欠陥d, it’s not going to do what MSPs supporting it 手配中の,お尋ね者 it to do, and those 警告s are 存在 ignored by Humza Yousaf.”
