Puppy gets new home with Met police officer who 救助（する）d her from squalid flat
An abandoned Staffie cross puppy has been brought 支援する from the brink of 餓死 by a 主要都市の Police officer, who now wishes to 可決する・採択する her 永久的に.
Police were called to Tottenham, north London, a few days before Christmas last year after an abseiling 建設業者 spotted a 苦しめるd dog through the window of a 12th-床に打ち倒す flat.

On the good fortune of the 建設業者 spotting Stella, Pc Allen said: “Thank God he did because if he hadn’t staff at the hospital reckon she would have had three or four days to live. So she’s very lucky but I also feel like we’re very lucky.”

Pc Allen and his partner, 探偵，刑事 Constable Jade Peirce, have fostered nine-month-old Stella with the 意向 of 可決する・採択するing her.
Dc Peirce, 28, said: “She’s been having princess 治療, getting fatter which we love because she was still so, so skinny when we got her.
“She’s just so loving, so 井戸／弁護士席-tempered with people, she 絶対 loves other dogs.
“She has taken to training really 井戸／弁護士席, with her 解任する and her general obedience,” she said, 追加するing: “We’re working on her lead 技術s.”

Stella’s exact pedigree is unknown but Dc Peirce said the couple would be carrying out a “doggy デオキシリボ核酸” 実験（する）, with their 疑惑s that the puppy has a lineage of Jack Russell and Boxer.
Pc Allen said he was incredibly thankful that Stella had come into their lives and encouraged others to consider 救助（する）ing a pet.
“I don’t think we could have asked for a better dog,” he said, 追加するing: “If you get a chance to do it, do it.”

Dc Peirce 追加するd: “If you love dogs, there’s something about fostering a dog that makes it more special. They really do make your life so much better.
“If you can, always foster, always 救助（する）, over buying, because there are so many dogs and cats that need loving homes.”
After Stella left the animal hospital, the couple 最初 took no notice of a thimble-sized attachment on her collar.
“She’s got a little vial on her collar with a little 公式文書，認める in it that the nurses at the animal hospital had put on there,” Dc Peirce said.
