CAVENDISH MAKING SPEEDY RECOVERY

The 29-year-old 衝突，墜落d on the 開始 行う／開催する／段階 of the 3,664-kilometre race two weeks ago, 軍隊ing him to pull out of the event and he will also 行方不明になる the 連邦／共和国 Games in Glasgow.
Cavendish returned to 活動／戦闘 for the first time on Sunday at Carcassonne in フラン but the Omega Pharma-Quickstep rider 収容する／認めるs there is a long way to go yet.
Cavendish told Sky Sports: "I did my first ride on the road yesterday (Sunday). I wasn't 苦痛 解放する／自由な but I was okay.
"I'm just a bit weak on my 権利 arm. My 外科医 Len Fong has done an incredible 職業 and I've been working with my physio Phil Jones on the 小島 of Man.
"I've been in the hyperbaric (oxygen therapy) 議会 in the 小島 of Man which seems to have 速度(を上げる）d-up my 回復 more than I thought, so I think I can start to train, but the problem is if I 衝突，墜落 it would 損失 the shoulder.
"I had a grade four ligament 涙／ほころび which was worse than we 推定する／予想するd in the first few days but I've had 広大な／多数の／重要な people around me with my rehab and we'll be talking with the team in the next few days to see what my programme is."
Cavendish's 傷害 puts his 参加 at the World 選手権s in 疑問 with the 25-time 小旅行する de フラン 行う／開催する／段階-勝利者 辞退するing to put a date on his 競争の激しい 復帰.
"I don't know how long I'm going to be before I start racing," Cavendish sa id.
"I just got 支援する on the road on my bike yesterday. 明白に I can't be competing 本気で until I can be 保証（人）d there's no more shoulder 損失.
"I'm in a 広大な／多数の／重要な 状況／情勢 with the support I've had from my team and I have to finish the season strong to honour my team and honour the 約束 they've had in me.
"I want to do that 適切に, I don't want to be just riding around, and worse I don't want to 衝突，墜落 and 損失 my shoulder even その上の."
