EX-VIOLIN TUTOR CHARGED WITH RAPE
A former teacher at a prestigious music school has been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with 強姦.
Malcolm Layfield, who taught at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, is （刑事）被告 of one count of 強姦 on an 18-year-old woman in 1982.
The 62-year-old violin 教える went on to teach at the 王室の Northern College of Music (RNCM), where he stood 負かす／撃墜する as 長，率いる of strings in February last year.
The 申し立てられた／疑わしい 犠牲者 is understood to be a former pupil at one of the music schools.
A 広報担当者 for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "A man has been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d as part of an 調査 into historic 性の 乱用 at music schools in Manchester.
"Malcolm Layfield, of Victoria 炭坑，オーケストラ席 Marina, Higher Poynton, Cheshire, has been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with one count of 強姦.
"He is 予定 to appear at Manchester City 治安判事s' 法廷，裁判所 on 14 August 2014.
"The 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 relates to the (申し立てられた／疑わしい) 強姦 of a woman in 1982 when she was 18."
Layfield is one of a number of men to be 逮捕（する）d in an 現在進行中の 調査 into historic 性の 乱用 at the RNCM and Chetham's.
GMP have said more than 30 women have made （民事の）告訴s that they 苦しむd 性の 乱用 from classical music teachers.

The 主張s come in the 落ちる-out from the high-profile sex 乱用 裁判，公判 last year of Michael Brewer, the former music director at C hetham's.
Brewer was 刑務所，拘置所d for six years after he was 設立する 有罪の of indecently 強襲，強姦ing ex-pupil フランs Andrade, 48, more than 30 years ago when she was 14 and 15.
Mrs Andrade died from an overdose at her home in Guildford, Surrey, a week after giving 証拠 against him.
