Rooney 始める，決めるs sights on silverware
A cloud of 悲観論主義 may 現在／一般に hang over the 国家の 味方する, but Wayne Rooney is 納得させるd he can lead England to their first トロフィー in half a century.
Rooney has captained England on two occasions before, but on Wednesday night the feeling will be different when he leads the team up the tunnel and out on to the Wembley turf to 直面する Norway.
The Manchester 部隊d striker said it was a "dream" to captain his country, but the few weeks that に先行するd his 任命 were something of a nightmare for the 28-year-old and his England team-mates.

"I've always said I don't want to finish my career with England having not won anything," said Rooney, who was also 任命するd club captain three weeks ago.

"That will be very difficult, but I really do think it's achievable.
"Look at the players we've got. They're exciting players. They have to do what they do for their clubs with England, and we have to bring that together.
"Of course it's very difficult - it is for any country but that has to be our 目的（とする）. It's pointless not having that as your 目的（とする） or your 願望（する）."
Norway defender Vegard Forren, like a heavyweight boxer trying to 促進する a fight, stirred some 利益／興味 in the friendly by branding Rooney "a bit chubby" in an interview with Norwegian 放送者 TV2.no.

Rooney says his bad-boy days are behind him and he has no problem about taking centre 行う／開催する／段階.
"I'm sure the scrutiny will go up a notch, but I've dealt with a lot in my career and I'm ready. It's my time," he said.
"I've played a lot of games for 部隊d and England, and I'm ready to 受託する that 責任／義務.
"You have to be an 外交官／大使, take the 責任／義務 and be a 役割 model for young kids. That's what I want to do. I had a few 問題／発行するs in my young days, but they're behind me now."
Rooney said playing under Steven Gerrard, Gary Neville and David Beckham would help him become a better captain.
