青年 quizzed over dogs' home 炎
A 14-year-old boy is 存在 questioned on 疑惑 of 放火（罪） after a 炎 at Manchester Dogs' Home which killed more than 40 dogs.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Harpurhey すぐに after 7pm last night when a 解雇する／砲火／射撃 broke out in a kennel section.
About 150 dogs were 救助（する）d and are in the 過程 of 存在 moved to the charity's sister home in Grappenhall, Cheshire.

"As a dog owner myself I understand that many people will feel angry and upset about what has happened but I would ask that they let the police carry out their 調査s and not take 事柄s into their own 手渡すs.
"We have received an 圧倒的な 返答 from the public and would ask if anyone wants to help they can make 寄付s of food or bedding to North Manchester divisional （警察，軍隊などの）本部 on Northampton Road in Newton ヒース／荒れ地."

"We are so 感謝する to the people of Manchester and Greater Manchester who have come to support us but we need to get the roads （疑いを）晴らす so we can get the dogs out."
Manchester & Cheshire Dogs' Home opened in 1893 and has rehomed more than one million dogs.
The 登録（する）d charity is said to care for more than 7,000 逸脱する and unwanted dogs each year and manages to rehome 95% of them.
A 殺到する in 寄付s on its its JustGiving website took place in the wake of the 炎.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home said it was "incredibly saddened" to learn of the 解雇する／砲火／射撃. A spokeswoman said: "We 延長する our deepest sympathies to all the staff and volunteers at the centre.
"We understand this 悲劇の 出来事/事件 may have led to the loss of life of several 救助（する） dogs.
"Battersea is very willing to help in any way we can over the coming days and weeks and we have 試みる／企てるd 接触する with the Manchester 救助（する） centre to see how we can support them at this difficult time."
A JustGiving account 始める，決める up by the Manchester Evening News in the wake of the 解雇する／砲火／射撃 has raised more than £100,000 in the space of a few hours, with 寄贈者s from across the UK and even abroad.
Manchester 解雇する／砲火／射撃 tweeted their thanks to the 寄贈者s, 説: "One hundred and fifty dogs 救助（する）d. Thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs 寄付するd. Thank you Greater Manchester."
