100,000 十代の少年少女s 'off the レーダ'
Tens of thousands of 十代の少年少女s have fallen off the レーダ with no （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） 利用できる on whether they are in education or training, a cross-party group of MPs has 警告するd.

But some did not know whether or not these young people were in education and training.

"If the activity of young people is unknown to the 地元の 当局 where they live, they are ありそうもない to receive 的d help if they need it, for instance support from the 青年 契約," the 報告（する）／憶測 said.
The Department for Education (DfE) recognised it could do more and work with 地元の 会議s to identify and 株 good practice on 跡をつけるing young people's activity, it 追加するd.
The 委員会 also called for the DfE to 明言する／公表する what it would do if the careers advice 申し込む／申し出d by a school was 設立する to be poor.
And it raised 関心s that many 地元の 会議s did not help 16 to 18-year-olds with the cost of travelling to school or college, which could disadvantage some youngsters.
"地元の 当局 must have a 輸送（する） 政策 setting out what 手はず／準備 they have to support 16 to 18-year-olds in 接近ing education and training," the 報告（する）／憶測 said.
"This 政策 does not have to 含む 供給するing 財政上の 援助 and, in 63 地元の 当局 where 輸送（する） costs are 比較して high, young people do not get help with these costs.

"If young people cannot afford the travel costs they may 減少（する） out."
委員会 議長，司会を務める Margaret Hodge said: "There are 148,000 out of two million 16 to 18-year-olds in England who are not in education, 雇用 or training - or NEET - and whilst the number is thankfully 改善するing, the UK is still behind other 経済協力開発機構 countries when it comes to 減ずるing NEETs.
"Too many young people 簡単に disappear from all the 関連した public systems.
"100,000 加える young people are off the レーダ in that some 地元の 当局 do not know whether they are 参加するing in education or training or not.
"If the activity of young people is unknown to the 地元の 当局 where they live, they are ありそうもない to receive 的d help.
"It would seem ありふれた sense that the main 推論する／理由 the number of NEETs is 負かす／撃墜する is that the 法律 has cha nged to 要求する young people to continue in education or training until at least their 18th birthday.
"It is difficult to show that any other 介入s, such as careers advice, have been 効果的な."
David Simmonds, chairman of the 地元の 政府 協会's Children and Young People Board, said: "会議s are committed to identifying and supporting all youngsters to realise their 十分な 可能性のある and have 現実に 減ずるd the number of 'unknown' 16 to-18-year-olds by 14% since 2012 同様に as 主要な the 削減 of 解放する／撤去させるd 十代の少年少女s to an かつてない low.
