Syria airstrikes could get 労働 support にもかかわらず no UN 決意/決議

労働 has 示すd it could support the 拡張 of RAF airstrikes against the Islamic 明言する/公表する terror group (Isis) into Syria without the 支援 of a 国際連合 安全 会議 決意/決議.

The party's 年次の 会議/協議会 last month 投票(する)d not to support 軍の 活動/戦闘 in Syria without the authorisation of the UN, まっただ中に 期待s that 総理大臣 David Cameron will soon put the 問題/発行する to a 投票(する) in the House of ありふれたs.

But in an article in The 後見人, 影をつくる/尾行する foreign 長官 Hilary Benn has now signalled that 労働 would "look at the position again" if a 安全 会議 決意/決議 was 拒否権d by Russia.

And he 警告するd that inaction would have "consequences" on the ground for people in Syria.

Mr Benn wrote: " On the question of airstrikes against Isis in Syria, it should now be possible to get 協定 on a UN 決意/決議 given that four of the five 永久の members - the US, フラン, Britain and Russia - are already taking 軍の 活動/戦闘 against Isis in Iraq or Syria or in both countries. The 総理大臣 should now be working tirelessly with other countries to try to 安全な・保証する such a 決意/決議."

But he 追加するd: " Of course, we know that any 決意/決議 may be 拒否権d and in those circumstances we would need to look at the position again.

"The way we take any 決定/判定勝ち(する) will 事柄 a 広大な/多数の/重要な 取引,協定. MPs and others may 同意しない about what the 権利 thing to do is, but we must never forget that we have a 責任/義務 both to help the Syrian people and 保護する British 国民s.

"Deciding to 介入する 軍事的に in another country is one of the most serious 決定/判定勝ち(する)s 議会 can make, but 平等に nobody should be in any 疑問 that inaction is also a 決定/判定勝ち(する) that will have consequences in Syria."

Mr Cameron has 繰り返して 明言する/公表するd that he will only 捜し出す ありふれたs 是認 for airstrikes in Syria if he believes he can 安全な・保証する a "合意" in the House, though 大臣s have 示すd that this may not やむを得ず 要求する the support of 労働 leader Jeremy Corbyn if enough 労働 MPs are willing to 支援する 軍の 活動/戦闘.

The 後見人 報告(する)/憶測d that Mr Benn's article was written に引き続いて a 会合 with Mr Corbyn and other 上級の 影をつくる/尾行する 大臣s on Tu esday, に引き続いて which the leader 解放(する)d a 声明 説: "I met with 影をつくる/尾行する 閣僚 同僚s today and Hilary Benn is setting out the position."

Mr Benn 強調する/ストレスd that any 労働 support for the 拡張 of airstrikes would be 扶養家族 on a number of 条件s.

"MPs will want to know what the 目的(とする) of British airstrikes in Syria would be, their nature and what difference they would make, the 合法的な base and the 見解(をとる)s of other nations in the 地域, 含むing Iraq," he wrote.

"Britain also needs to redouble its 成果/努力s and use its 影響(力) to 勧める the UN to 行為/法令/行動する on the wider Syrian 危機 to 保護する 非軍事のs through 安全な zones, 持つ/拘留する to account those 責任がある 嫌疑者,容疑者/疑うd war 罪,犯罪s, 増加する 人道的な 援助(する), help 難民s and agree a 計画(する) to bring the civil war to an end."
