A 殺人 裁判,公判 陪審/陪審員団 has been told of the moment a policeman 設立する a dead 13-year-old girl under a bundle of bedding as he shouted 猛烈に for her to "wake up".

Sergeant Christopher Fletcher and his 同僚s 粉砕するd their way into a 半分-detached house in Lincolnshire after 関心s were raised about the 福利事業 of Katie Edwards and her mother, 49-year-old Elizabeth.

Searching the house in Dawson Avenue, Spalding, for the 犠牲者's daughter, the Lincolnshire Police officer then went into another room where there was a child's bed.

He "pulled" at a quilt on 最高の,を越す of the mattress but it felt 激しい, Sgt Fletcher 解任するd.

One of the 十代の少年少女s - a 15-year-old boy - has already 認める 殺人ing the 犠牲者s in the Edwards family home, ahead of the start of an eight-day 裁判,公判.

A girl, also 15, has pleaded 有罪の to 過失致死 but 否定するs 殺人ing Ms Edwards and her young daughter.

開始 the 起訴, Mr Joyce said: "They were both stabbed through the throat in their beds at their home."

Both 十代の少年少女s, who cannot be identified for 合法的な 推論する/理由s, are 申し立てられた/疑わしい to have planned the 殺人,大当りs before carrying them out on April 15.

Ms Edwards was 設立する lying in bed in her room where she had been 繰り返して stabbed, the 陪審/陪審員団 was told, leaving "血 spatters" on the 塀で囲む, 床に打ち倒す and bedding.

The 起訴 barrister said that the boy had then gone into one of the bedrooms, where he "pinned Mrs Edwards 負かす/撃墜する on the bed by ひさまづくing astride her".

He 追加するd there were noises of a struggle and "gurgling sounds while the 殺人,大当り took place", before a pillow was placed over the 犠牲者's 長,率いる.

Mr Joyce said: "There were 血 spatters on the 塀で囲む - you've seen them, 血 on the 床に打ち倒す and 血 on the bed."

The boy is 申し立てられた/疑わしい to have then checked the 犠牲者's pulse, to make sure she was dead.

He then went into the young girl's bedroom, while his 申し立てられた/疑わしい 女性(の) 共犯者 was in the bathroom, where he killed his second 犠牲者.

She was later covered with a sheet.

The 団体/死体s were 設立する by police about 36 hours after the 殺人,大当りs.

Inside the house, officers 設立する the 20cm kitchen knife discarded on a chest of drawers in the youngster's bedroom, which the 起訴 has said was the 武器 used in the 殺人,大当りs.

Both 十代の少年少女s were 逮捕(する)d a short time after officers made the grim 発見.

Mr Joyce told the 陪審/陪審員団: "Let me make it plain from the very 手始め, what it is you're trying and what you're not.

"She is not 否定するing that she was just as 伴う/関わるd (as the other 十代の少年少女) in 存在 a party to the 殺人,大当りs.

"She 手配中の,お尋ね者 them to happen."

He 追加するd: "She is 主張するing that her mental 条件 at the time 減ずるs her 責任/義務 from 殺人 to 過失致死."

The 栄冠を与える's QC said: "The 起訴's 事例/患者 is that she will not 後継する in 証明するing that her 責任/義務 was 減らすd."

He 追加するd that the 被告 "has shown no hint of 悔恨" since the 殺人,大当りs.

Both 十代の少年少女s were 14 years old at the time.
