South Africa-born Keaton Jennings feels 'very English' as 実験（する） debut beckons
Keaton Jennings is thankful he got one of the hardest 決定／判定勝ち（する）s of his life 権利 - when he committed his cricket 未来 to England.
The 24-year-old had just finished a （選挙などの）運動をする in England as South Africa Under-19 captain when 運命／宿命 dealt him the 窮地 of whether to continue to try to 押し進める for international 承認 with his native country or switch 忠誠.
Jennings, 始める，決める to make his 実験（する） debut in Mumbai on Thursday as England captain Alastair Cook's 11th 開始 partner in the last four years, 協議するd his father - the renowned disciplinarian ex-South Africa coach Ray Jennings - before deciding to make the move.

After a four-year 資格 period, a 打開 summer with Durham in 2016 and the misfortune of Haseeb Hameed - out of the series against India with a 不正に-broken left 手渡す - it has left him on the 瀬戸際 of a maiden 実験（する） cap as England try to 戦う／戦い 支援する from 2-0 負かす／撃墜する with two to play.
Asked what tipped the 規模s for him 支援する in 2012, Jennings 特記する／引用するd まず第一に／本来 the systems in place in English cricket and the friendliness of the people he met in his Sunderland-born mother's native north east.
He said: "It's the 適切な時期, the professionalism ... there was a combination of feeling really welcome, feeling loved and 存在 押し進めるd 同様に.
"I've always said since I was small that if I make it in cricket that's brilliant - if I don't then I want to know I've given it my best 発射.
"At the time I sat 負かす／撃墜する with my dad and I felt it would be my best 適切な時期 to live my dream in the UK - and I'm very glad as I sit here now to have made that hard 決定／判定勝ち（する）."

"At the moment I'm feeling very comfortable and very English, にもかかわらず my accent," he 追加するd.
"The more time you spend in a country, the more you feel welcome.
"特に in the north east, the people are very welcoming - and that made me feel part of the furniture essentially.
"I'm blessed that they've welcomed me ... with open 武器."
Jennings' Durham 未来 remains in some 疑問, after the financially-stricken 郡's demotion and stringent points 刑罰，罰則 as 条件s of their 保釈（金）-out from the England and むちの跡s Cricket Board.
As things stand, though, he has a 契約 延長するd for another four years - albeit with a 条項 which 許すs him to revisit that 決定／判定勝ち（する） on account of relegation - and he has put 負かす／撃墜する roots within a decent arm of his club's （警察，軍隊などの）本部.
"I bought a 所有物／資産／財産 a couple of years ago - a nice little two-bed flat in Chester-le-Street," he said.
"I've got a 地元の pub 同様に. The more time you spend in a country, the more you feel welcome."
His dad is not 正確に／まさに 一連の会議、交渉／完成する the corner, but his is the advice Jennings still prizes most 高度に.
"I'm probably closer to him than I am to anybody else in the world - from a father point of 見解（をとる）, from a 役割 model, from a coach," said Jennings.
"I'm blessed to have a person in my life that I 信用, that I 信用 with my life, and that will help me guide my career.
"The outward persona (is) of a very hard and 固める／コンクリート man - in the family house he's very loving and gentle."
That may be a 発覚 to many, but Jennings junior's take on how to help England fight 支援する against India borrows a little more 明白に from the teachings of a hard taskmaster.
He said: "It is 2-0 負かす／撃墜する against 堅い 対立 ... I hope we can land a few haymakers and throw some punches 支援する."

"I （機の）カム with my dad to the IPL, and was a bit of a tourist, and really enjoyed it," Jennings said.
