Syria （人命などを）奪う，主張するs victory in 戦う／戦い to 解放する Deir el-Zour from Islamic 明言する／公表する
The Syrian army has 発表するd it has 解放するd the long-contested eastern city of Deir el-Zour from the Islamic 明言する／公表する group.
It 示すs another 敗北・負かす for the 極端論者s as their self-布告するd caliphate 崩壊するs and almost all their 都市の 要塞／本拠地s in Syria and Iraq have been lost.
The 再度捕まえる of Deir el-Zour, on the west bank of the Euphrates River, is another victory for 大統領 Bashar Assad’s 軍隊s, though 大部分は 象徴的な in the 軍の’s bigger fight to 逮捕（する） most of the oil-rich 州 along the 国境 with Iraq.
Deir el-Zour, which had been divided into a 政府-held and an IS-held part for nearly three years, is the largest city in eastern Syria and the 資本／首都 of the 州 with the same 指名する. It is the largest to be 再度捕まえるd by the Syrian 政府 from IS.
Army 広報担当者 General Ali Mayhoub 宣言するd victory in Deir el-Zour, 述べるing it as the “last 段階” in the 軍の’s （選挙などの）運動をする に向かって the 完全にする annihilation of IS in Syria.

“With the loss of Deir el-Zour, Daesh loses its ability to lead テロリスト 操作／手術s by its 交戦的なs who are now 孤立するd and encircled east of the city,” he said, using the Arabic 指名する for IS.
The 極端論者 group has lost more than 90% of the 領土 it once held in Iraq and Syria at the 高さ of its 力／強力にする in 2014 and 2015, 含むing Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in northern Syria.
It also comes as Iraqi 軍隊s and 連合した Shiite militiamen are chasing IS 残余s inside the town of Qaim, on the Iraqi 味方する of the 国境.
The 交戦的なs, 大勝するd from one 都市の 要塞／本拠地 after another, have recently been moving deeper into Syria’s remote 砂漠, where 専門家s say they are 再編成するing and 準備するing to return to ゲリラ兵-style attacks 含むing scattered 引き逃げの and 自殺 爆破s.

In a 声明, the Syrian 軍の said it was in 十分な 支配（する）／統制する of the city, after a weeks-long （選挙などの）運動をする carried out with 連合した 軍隊s. It said army 部隊s are 除去するing ばか者 罠（にかける）s and 地雷s left behind by the 極端論者 group.
Syrian 政府 軍隊s and their 同盟（する）s first broke the 交戦的な group’s 包囲 of their part of the city in September in a ロシアの-支援するd 不快な／攻撃, and have been 前進するing against IS positions since then.
The Syrian army, 支援するd by Russia and Iran, and Kurdish-led Syrian 軍隊s, 支援するd by the US, are now racing to take the 残り／休憩（する） of the oil-rich eastern 州 of Deir el-Zour, 含むing the 重要な town of Boukamal 近づく the Iraqi 国境.
IS’s last 領土の 要塞／本拠地 in Iraq was the town of Qaim, across the 国境 from the Syrian town of Boukamal.
An Iraqi officer in Iraq’s western Anbar 地域 said on Friday that Iraqi 軍隊s have reached the 国境 with Syria as they continue to の近くに in on the pocket of 交戦的な-held 領土.
The Iraqi 軍隊s are 押し進めるing into western neighbourhoods of Qaim, the 共同の comma nd said and Iraq’s 首相 Haider al-Abadi 誓約（する）d the 戦う／戦い will be finished within days.
