HMS Westminster, a Portsmouth-based Type 23 ¥Õ¥ê¥²¡¼¥È´Ï, was ¶ÛµÞȯ¿Ê¤¹¤ëd to ·Þ·â¤¹¤ë two of Vladimir Putin¡Çs ·³´Ïs and two supporting Âç·¿Á¥s as they passed ¤Î¶á¤¯¤Ë to UK waters.

The MoD said the ship had been keeping Àפò¤Ä¤±¤ë of their activities in ¡ Èareas of Britain¡Çs ¹ñ²È¤Î Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£¡É, before ¸î±Ò¤¹¤ëing them through the English Channel on Monday.

It is believed the four ¥í¥·¥¢¤Î ships are returning to the Baltic after Áàºî¡¿¼ê½Ñs in the Middle East.

The UK ·³´Ï will remain with the two Steregushchiy-class ¥Õ¥ê¥²¡¼¥È´Ïs Soobrazitelny and Boiky and support Âç·¿Á¥s Paradoks and Kola as they Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë north.

On Christmas Eve, HMS Tyne was called to ¸î±Ò¤¹¤ë a ¥í¥·¥¢¤Î ÃÎǽ-½¸²ñ ship through the North Sea and the English Channel.

A Wildcat ¥Ø¥ê¥³¥×¥¿¡¼ from 815 ³¤·³¤Î ¶õµ¤¡¿¸øÉ½¤¹¤ë µ³Ê¼ÂçÂâ, based at RNAS Yeovilton, was then Çɸ¯¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ëd to ´Æ»ë¤¹¤ë two ¤½¤Î¾å¤Î ¥í¥·¥¢¤Î Âç·¿Á¥s.
