Irish Taoiseach calls for 尊敬（する）・点 in abortion 国民投票
Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has 勧めるd 政治家，政治屋s not to become embroiled in disrespectful or personalised attacks during the 国民投票 on liberalising 制限する abortion 法律s.
He 繰り返し言うd his かかわり合い to 持つ／拘留する the 投票（する） before the end of May ーするために 確実にする as many people as possible can take part.
“It should be respectful of all 味方するs and it should never be personalised,” the Taoiseach said.
“Even when people are not 存在 respectful or are personalised に向かって us we should not 答える／応じる.”
The exact date of a 投票（する） on the question of 廃止するing the Eighth 改正 to the Irish 共和国’s 憲法 is to be 決定するd once 政治家，政治屋s 投票（する） on 法律制定 to 持つ／拘留する a 国民投票.
If 投票者s 支援する 除去 of the 条項, which gives equal 権利 to life to the mother and the unborn, then a new 改正 will be 挿入するd to enable the Irish 議会 to 立法者 to make terminations 合法的な in 確かな circumstances.
The Taoiseach said the 意向 was to liberalise the 政権 to 許す for unrestricted abortion up to 12 weeks into pregnancy.
He told the Dail 議会: “This is now a 事柄 for the Irish people. It is in their 手渡すs.
“I think it is 権利 that Irish people should be asked this question.

“When it was last asked I was four years old. Nobody under 52 has had a 投票（する） on this 問題／発行する. I think it’s appropriate that people should be 許すd to have this 投票（する）.”
Terminations are 現在／一般に only 許すd in the Irish 共和国 when the life of the mother is at 危険, 含むing from 自殺, and the 最大限 刑罰，罰則 for 接近ing an 違法な abortion is 14 years in 刑務所，拘置所.
Mr Varadkar defended the 決定／判定勝ち（する） to publish a 要約 of the 司法長官’s advice to the 政府 on the 問題／発行する of the 国民投票.

Mr Varadkar said a 類似の step on the AG’s advice was taken in 1983 when the 国民投票 was held to 挿入する the 条項 on the unborn into the 憲法.
He said: “We don’t want to be in a 状況／情勢 whereby Irish people go out in a 大多数 and 投票（する） to 廃止する the Eighth only to find out that it had no 影響 and that there is still a 憲法の 禁止（する） on abortion.”
Ailbhe Smyth, of the 連合 to 廃止する the Eighth 改正, said: “In the 35 years since its insertion, the (Eighth) 改正 has 証明するd to be 合法的に 混乱させるing, medically unworkable and profoundly detrimental to women’s lives, health, and 井戸／弁護士席-存在.”
Dr Ruth Cullen, of the プロの／賛成の Life （選挙などの）運動をする, said: “They can’t disguise the fact that what’s 存在 提案するd is 単独で about stripping unborn babies of all meaningful 合法的な 保護s.”
