Lady Bird leaves Oscars empty-手渡すd
It was a disappointing night for Greta Gerwig’s 単独の directorial debut Lady Bird at the Oscars, as the film failed to 勝利，勝つ a 選び出す／独身 トロフィー.

The film’s 星／主役にする, Saoirse Ronan, lost out in the best actress 部類 to フランs McDormand for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, while supporting actress 競争相手 Laurie Metcalf was 敗北・負かすd by Allison Janney for I, Tonya.
Mudbound also left the 儀式 without any prizes, にもかかわらず Mary J Blige making history with her 指名／任命s for best supporting actress and best 初めの song.

The film’s cinematographer. Rachel Morrison, who was the first woman to receive a nod in the 部類, lost out to Roger Deakins.

There was also 失望 for Christopher Nolan, who also lost out in the best director 部類, after he 選ぶd up his first nod for Dunkirk.
The film won three of the eight prizes it was 指名するd for ? best film editing, best sound mixing and best sound editing.
