深い forehead wrinkles link to cardiovascular 病気

People who have more 深い forehead wrinkles than is typical for their age may have a higher 危険 of dying of cardiovascular 病気 (CVD), 研究員s have 示唆するd.

They said while furrows in the brow are not a better method of 評価するing cardiovascular 危険 than 存在するing methods such as 血 圧力 and lipid profiles, they could raise a red 旗 earlier, at a simple ちらりと見ること at low cost.

The 熟考する/考慮する, which is 存在 現在のd at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) 議会 in Munich, Germany, did not find a 限定された 推論する/理由 for the link, but?theorises that it could have to do with atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries 予定 to plaque build-up.

The authors found that people with a wrinkle score of one had a slightly higher risk of dying of cardiovascular disease than people with no wrinkles (Chris Ison/PA)

The authors 設立する that people with a wrinkle 得点する/非難する/20 of one had a わずかに higher 危険 of dying of cardiovascular 病気 than people with no wrinkles (Chris Ison/PA)

Atherosclerosis is a major contributor to heart attacks and other cardiovascular eve nts, and changes in collagen protein and oxidative 強調する/ストレス seem to play a part both in atherosclerosis and wrinkles.

Also, 血 大型船s in the forehead are so small they may be more 極度の慎重さを要する to plaque build-up meaning wrinkles could be one of the 早期に 調印するs of 大型船 ageing.

The 熟考する/考慮する analysed a group of 3,200 working adults who were all healthy and were 老年の 32, 42, 52 and 62 at the start.

They were 診察するd by 内科医s who 割り当てるd 得点する/非難する/20s depending on the number and depth of wrinkles on their foreheads.

A 得点する/非難する/20 of 無 meant no wrinkles while a 得点する/非難する/20 of three meant “非常に/多数の 深い wrinkles”.

The 関係者s were followed for 20 years, during which time 233 died of さまざまな 原因(となる)s. Of these, 15.2% had 得点する/非難する/20 two and three wrinkles, 6.6% had 得点する/非難する/20 one wrinkles and 2.1% had no wrinkles.

The authors 設立する that people with a wrinkle 得点する/非難する/20 of one had a わずかに higher 危険 of dying of cardiovascular 病気 than people with no wrinkles.

Those who had wrinkle 得点する/非難する/20s of two and three had almost 10 times the 危険 of dying compared with people who had wrinkle 得点する/非難する/20s of 無, after 調整s for age, gender, education, smoking status, 血 圧力, heart 率, 糖尿病 and lipid levels.

熟考する/考慮する author Yolande Esquirol, associate professor of occupational health at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse in フラン, said: “The higher your wrinkle 得点する/非難する/20, the more your cardiovascular mortality 危険 増加するs.

“You can’t see or feel 危険 factors like high cholesterol or hypertension.

“We 調査するd forehead wrinkles as a marker because it’s so simple and visual. Just looking at a person’s 直面する could sound an alarm, then we could give advice to lower 危険.”

She said that advice could 含む straightforward lifestyle changes such as getting more 演習 or eating healthier food.

危険 of heart 病気 増加するs as people age, but lifestyle and 医療の 介入s can mitigate the danger. The challenge is in identifying high-危険 患者s 早期に enough to make a difference.

Dr Esquirol 追加するd: “Of course, if you have a person with a 可能性のある cardiovascular 危険, you have to check classical 危険 factors like 血 圧力 同様に as lipid and 血 glucose levels, but you could already 株 some 推薦s on lifestyle factors.

“This is the first time a link has been 設立するd between cardiovascular 危険 and forehead wrinkles so the findings do need to be 確認するd in 未来 熟考する/考慮するs, but the practice could be used now in 内科医s’ offices and clinics.

“It doesn’t cost anything and there is no 危険.”

Previous 研究 has analysed different 明白な 調印するs of ageing to see if they can presage cardiovascular 病気, with a link (悪事,秘密などを)発見するd between male-pattern baldness, earlobe creases, xanthelasma (pockets of cholesterol under the 肌) and a higher 危険 of heart 病気, but not with an 増加するd 危険 of 現実に dying.
