労働 must 支援する second 投票(する) on Brexit if party members want one: Tom Watson

労働 should 支援する a second 国民投票 on Brexit if its members want one, 副 leader Tom Watson has said.

Mr Watson’s comments (機の)カム as a 投票 for The 観察者/傍聴者 設立する 86% of 労働 members think 投票者s should have the final say on the 結果 of Brexit 交渉s, and 90% would now 投票(する) to remain in the EU.

Mr Watson told The 観察者/傍聴者:?“Jeremy and I were elected in 2015 to give the?労働?Party 支援する to its members.

“So if the people’s party decide they want the people to have a final say on the 取引,協定, we have to 尊敬(する)・点 the 見解(をとる) of our members and we will go out and argue for it.”

But 影をつくる/尾行する (ドイツなどの)首相/(大学の)学長 John McDonnell 警告するd on Saturday that a second 国民投票 could stoke racial 緊張s and far-権利 populism.

“I really worry about another 国民投票,” said Mr McDonnell.

“I’m 猛烈に trying to 避ける any rise of 外国嫌い that happened last time around, I’m 猛烈に trying to 避ける giving any 適切な時期 to Ukip or the far-権利. I think there’s the real 危険 of that.

“We’re not 判決,裁定 out a people’s 投票(する), but there’s a real 危険, and I think people need to take that into account when we’re arguing for one.”

Former foreign 長官 David Miliband said it was an “絶対の dereliction of 義務” for 労働 not to say that the 取引,協定 得るd by the 総理大臣 must be put to the people.

“It is so important now, at this 決定的な moment for our country and our communities, that our party listens to its members, listens to its 投票者s and listens to those we need to 納得させる if we are to have that 過激な 労働 政府 we need.”
