Malawi and Zambia given £600,000 to 取り組む 気候 change

Scottish 政府 cash of £600,000 is to be spent 取り組むing 気候 change in Africa, as 環境 長官 Roseanna Cunningham 主張するd 大臣s here have a “moral 義務” to help nations that will be hardest 攻撃する,衝突する by rising 気温s.

The 基金ing will go to Scottish-based organisations working with partners in Malawi and Zambia, and will help 支払う/賃金 for 事業/計画(する)s 操縦するing the use of solar ovens and biogas as a 燃料 source.

Some of the cash will also be used to help train 農業者s in the countries in more “気候 smart” 農業の practices.

The 基金ing, which is 存在 分配するd from the Scottish 政府’s 気候 司法(官) 革新 基金, was 発表するd during 気候 Week.

Ms Cunningham said: “We have a moral 責任/義務 to do what we can to 取り組む the 影響s of 気候 change, 特に as they will be felt most 堅固に by those 攻撃を受けやすい communities who have done the least to 原因(となる) it.

“This 基金ing will support innovative 事業/計画(する)s to 直接/まっすぐに help 地元の communities, from 操縦するing solar ovens in co-op パン屋 商売/仕事s to helping 200 農業者s use 気候 resilient methods to diversify the 刈る 生産/産物.
