巨大(な) moon 激しく揺する to go under the 大打撃を与える
A moon 激しく揺する discovered on Earth could fetch around 500,000 US dollars (£379,000) when it goes on auction.
A 12-続けざまに猛撃する lunar meteorite discovered in North-west Africa last year is up for auction by Boston-based RR Auction and will be 支配する to online bidding that runs from Thursday until October 18.
RR 述べるd it as “one of the most important meteorites 利用できる for 取得/買収 anywhere in the world today” and one of the biggest pieces of the moon ever put up for sale.
The 激しく揺する 分類するd as NWA 11789, also known as “Buagaba” was 設立する last year in a remote area of Mauritania but probably 急落(する),激減(する)d to Earth thousands of years ago.
The meteorite is 現実に composed of six fragments that fit together like a puzzle.
Most lunar meteorites 設立する are the size of a walnut or ゴルフ ball, said Geoff Notkin, CEO of Aerolite Meteorites, which is selling the 激しく揺する.

“As soon as we saw this, we knew it was extraordinarily unusual,” he said. “This is の近くに to a once in a lifetime find.”
It is also one of the few known lunar meteorites with what 専門家s call “部分的な/不平等な fusion crust” 原因(となる)d by the tremendous heat that sears the 激しく揺する as it descends through the atmosphere.
“It 現実に toasted on the outside,” Mr Notkin said.
Another thing that makes it different from most meteorites is that it is “unpaired”. いつかs different pieces of the same meteorite are discovered at different times, and those examples are known as “paired” . An “unpaired” meteorite is more 望ましい to collectors and perhaps more 価値のある to science.
The meteorite would be a nice 新規加入 to any natural history museum, but don’t be surprised if a 私的な collector snaps it up, said Robert Livingston, RR’s (n)役員/(a)執行力のある 副/悪徳行為 大統領,/社長.
“This is the only way a 私的な collector can get their 手渡すs on a piece of the moon because the moon 激しく揺するs brought 支援する by 宇宙飛行士s are US 政府 所有物/資産/財産,” he said.
