Mundell calls for `妥協 and pragmatism´ as UK 準備するs to leave EU
Scottish 長官 David Mundell has said that 2019 must be a year of “妥協 and pragmatism” as the UK 準備するs to leave the EU.
Mr Mundell said that Brexit has “amplified 分割s” and said people should 始める，決める these aside and work together for the good of the country.
In his New Year message, he said the UK can leave the EU “尊敬（する）・点ing the result of the 2016 国民投票”, 追加するing the 取引，協定 the 総理大臣 has 交渉するd 保護するs 職業s and supports 商売／仕事s.
He called on 政治家，政治屋s to “finish the 職業 of leaving the EU” so that the 焦点（を合わせる） can move on to other 問題／発行するs.
Mr Mundell said: “I’m not going to pretend that 2018 has been an 平易な year.?In Scotland and across the UK, the past 12 months have brought home the difficulties of leaving the EU.
“Brexit has amplified 分割s ? between 政党s, within 政党s and outside politics too.

“The people?I 会合，会う?in Scotland?簡単に want Brexit sorted.?I understand that.?I agree?with them that?we need to move on to?the many other?things tha t 事柄 to?us?in?our daily lives.
“For that to happen, 2019 must be a year of?妥協 and pragmatism. It must be a year when?we 始める，決める aside 分割s and work together for the good of the country.?Even after a 堅い 2018, I’m 確信して that can happen.”
Mr Mundell called on 政治家，政治屋s to work together in the final months before the UK leaves the EU on March 29 2019.
He said:?“We can leave the EU, 尊敬（する）・点ing the result of the 2016 国民投票 and the 投票（する）s of 17.4?million people across the UK, and we can do so in a way that 保護するs 職業s, supports 商売／仕事 and 許すs us all to get on with our lives.
“The 総理大臣 has 交渉するd a を取り引きする the other EU member 明言する／公表するs that 配達するs on all of that. We can leave in an 整然とした way, with a 移行 period that will 許す us to finalise our 未来 手はず／準備 with the EU, wave goodbye to?the despised ありふれた 漁業s 政策 and begin to?強化する our 貿易（する）ing 関係s with the 残り／休憩（する） of the world.
“But?we will?all?need to 召喚する the?spirit of 妥協. As we enter the final three months before we leave the EU, the time has passed for 政治家，政治屋s 捜し出すing?to use Brexit to bring about a 総選挙 or an unwanted second independence 国民投票.
“The last thing we need, the last thing the country needs,?is more 分割.?Instead, we?should be crossing the ‘t’ and dotting the ‘i’ of Brexit, then moving on to 焦点（を合わせる） on other 問題／発行するs.”
Mr Mundell said that?Scotland’s 経済的な 業績／成果 continues to lag behind that of the UK as a whole and said that in?2019 his 優先s?will be 職業s and 繁栄 in Scotland.
