鉱夫s´ strike review 延長するd after more than 100 返答s received
An 独立した・無所属 review into the 衝撃 of policing during the 1980s 鉱夫s’ strike is to be 延長するd 予定 to the 量 of 証拠 put 今後, 含むing “powerful and moving” 証言.
The Scottish 政府 発表するd the 独立した・無所属 review last June.
It has received 108 返答s to a call for 証拠, 含むing submissions from the 国家の Union of Mineworkers (NUM) Scotland and the Retired Police Officers 協会 Scotland.
A total of eight public 会合s have been held in former 採掘 communities across the country, which a total of 167 people …に出席するd.
Review leader John Scott QC said in an 暫定的な 報告（する）／憶測: “We are 極端に 感謝する to those who …に出席するd and 株d their experience and 見解（をとる）s with us.
“We heard powerful and moving 証言 from individuals and their families who had been very 不正に 影響する／感情d by the strike, 特に those who were 逮捕（する）d, 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d, 起訴するd, 罪人／有罪を宣告するd and 宣告，判決d.
“Some were 再拘留（者）d in 保護／拘留, 特に if they were already on 保釈（金） for 類似の 主張s connected to the strike. Most were 簡単に 罰金d. Some were acquitted.
“Many lost their 職業s, with their 雇用者s appearing to take a 政策 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 解任する 関わりなく the gravity of the 主張 or the 刑罰，罰則 課すd.
“Some of these men 安全な・保証するd 雇用 どこかよそで, いつかs quickly but いつかs only after years. Some, 特に because of having to 宣言する their 有罪の判決, were unable to find other 職業s.
“For some individuals and their families, the 継続している 損失 was obvious.
“The 会合s 確認するd that, as a result, strong feelings 固執する on the 支配する of the 1984/85 strike and its policing.”
The review group also met retired police officers and 診察するd 公式の／役人 記録，記録的な／記録するs.
The group was 予定 to publish its 推薦s in June but 予定 to the extent of the 証拠 gathered, Mr Scott asked 法務大臣 Humza Yousaf for extra time, whic h has been 認めるd.
Mr Scott said: “ーするために take 十分な account of the 証拠 we have received, 同様に as the other 構成要素 利用できる to us, we decided that it would be necessary to ask for some more time to 完全にする our final 報告（する）／憶測, which was 初めは 予定 to be submitted in June.

Mr Yousaf welcomed the 報告（する）／憶測 and said: “In light of the extent of this 証拠, I have agreed to a request from John Scott for the review group to be given a short 拡張.
“A final 報告（する）／憶測, setting out lessons learnt and making 推薦s for any other 活動／戦闘 要求するd, will follow at the end of the summer and be made 公然と 利用できる.
“It is important that we recognise the generous 出資／貢献s made to the review by those who were 影響する／感情d.
“I want this review to bring 開いていること／寛大, understanding and a degree of 終結 to all those 伴う／関わるd.”
労働’s Neil Findlay, who （選挙などの）運動をするd for the review, said the level of submissions is “encouraging” and called for the review to consider 容赦s for those 罪人／有罪を宣告するd.
The 鉱夫s’ strike, which lasted from 1984 t o 1985, took place after then 総理大臣 Thatcher 発表するd 計画（する）s to の近くに a number of 炭坑，オーケストラ席s which were みなすd “inefficient”.
