Barnier to visit Dublin for Brexit 会談 on Monday
EU 長，指導者 Brexit 交渉者 Michel Barnier will visit Dublin on Monday for 会談 with Irish 首相 Leo Varadkar.
It is seen as a 調印する of 団結 for Ireland ahead of an 緊急 EU 首脳会議 in Brussels next week.
It comes after the British 総理大臣 wrote to European 会議 大統領，／社長 Donald Tusk requesting a Brexit 延期する, with an 選択 to leave earlier if she can get a leave 取引，協定 through 議会.
A 広報担当者 for the Taoiseach 確認するd on Friday that Mr Barnier and his team would travel to the Irish 資本／首都.
“The 目的（とする） is to take 在庫／株 of 開発s in London 同様に as the 現在進行中の planning for a possible no-取引，協定 シナリオ,” the 広報担当者 said.
Mr Barnier will also 会合，会う with Irish Foreign 事件／事情／状勢s 大臣 Simon Coveney and 大蔵大臣 Paschal Donohue.

The visit comes within days of Mr Varadkar 持つ／拘留するing 二国間の／相互の 会合s with French and German leaders.
Mr Coveney said it was not surprising that Mr Barnier would visit Dublin before the 首脳会議.
“What he will want to do first of all is show 団結 with Ireland,” Mr Coveney told RTE News.
“But also I think he’ll want a 詳細（に述べる）d conversation ーに関して／ーの点でs of Ireland’s 視野 on the most 最近の ask from the 総理大臣 for an 拡張 of time.”
He 追加するd: “Ireland is of course wi lling to give the 過程 more time, but we like many other EU member 明言する／公表するs will want to see a 計画（する） to go with that to show that there is a 提案するd way of finding a 大多数 support in Westminster for a way 今後.”
Asked about Ireland’s position on Mrs May’s June 30 request versus a possible 柔軟な one-year 拡張, Mr Coveney said: “We’re open to either in truth.”

“But they will need to see a 信頼できる 計画（する） to go with the ask.”
