Rapper MIA´s 政治上 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d music earns her MBE
British-Sri Lankan rapper MIA, whose 政治上 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d music has 調査するd the nuances of life as a 難民, has been made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
MIA, real 指名する Mathangi Arulpragasam, 43, is honoured for her services to music after using the medium to 向こうずね a light on the politics of 排水（気）量 across a 20-year career.
Best known for her 2007 song Paper 計画（する）s, MIA’s five albums and two EPs have been 壇・綱領・公約s for her いつかs 議論の的になる commentary on the 支配する.
MIA has been made an MBE (Ian West/PA)
That 2007 song features the chorus, “All I wanna do is take your money” and is punctuated by 射撃s and the sound of a cash 登録（する）.
Known to friends as Maya, she 特記する／引用するs 女性（の） punk group The Slits, fashion designer Malcolm McLaren and The 衝突／不一致 as 影響（力）s.
Her music is a melange of hip hop, Jamaican dancehall, punk and Britpop.
Arulpragasam was born in Hounslow, London, but spent much of her 青年 in northern Sri Lanka and India.
When she returned to the UK on the cusp of her 10th birthday 逃げるing the Sri Lankan civil war she was housed as a 難民 と一緒に her mother and two siblings. Her father, a Tamil political 行動主義者, remained in Sri Lanka.
