Hundreds of women (土地などの)細長い一片 off for 癌 charity skinny 下落する

Around 1,800 women have stripped off on a beach in Ireland to help the fight against 癌.

The 集まり skinny 下落する 含むd women all of ages ? from 十代の少年少女s to pensioners ? for the (土地などの)細長い一片 and 下落する charity swim.

癌 生存者s stood with women still 戦う/戦いing the 病気, while sisters, cousins, friends and work 同僚s also joined in.

Now in its seventh year, the charity has raised more than 700,000 euro in total.

Jackie Kavanagh, who is 戦う/戦いing 癌, left her hospital bed on Saturday morning t o 参加する the 集まり skinny 下落する.

“I was 認める to hospital yesterday and have to go for an 操作/手術 next week,” she said.

“I got out today as the girls had it planned, as it’s a 広大な/多数の/重要な 原因(となる).

“A friend of ours has also been 診断するd with 癌 so we’re all here to raise 認識/意識性 of the 病気 and show that everyone is different.

“I’ve scars, I was opened up 支援する and 前線.”

Niamh Brennan, from Dunboyne in Co Meath, was joined by her sisters and friends.

Her mother Kathleen died in 2010, years after she was 診断するd with ovarian 癌.

“My mam had ovarian 癌 for seven years. She ended up with bowel 癌 and she had enough and said goodbye,” Ms Brennan said.

“We decided to do this as it’s a 広大な/多数の/重要な way of celebrating her life.

“It’s a 広大な/多数の/重要な day out for all the girls. This is our second year going out. It’s a 広大な/多数の/重要な sense of freedom. It brings life to it all and gives us some girl 力/強力にする.”

Tanya Dobbyn, 26, was 診断するd with 癌 two years ago.

The Waterford woman under went six months of chemotherapy and had a 二塁打?mastectomy.

She said: “I was 診断するd with 行う/開催する/段階 three breast 癌 when I was 24. It was a 抱擁する shock but I’ve finished my 治療 and feel 広大な/多数の/重要な.

“My mam and aunt have been 診断するd with 癌, so it’s been a roller-coaster. But I’ve had a 広大な/多数の/重要な support.”

Her friend Becky Coste llo said: “As women we want to stand by each other in 団結.

“We need to bring attention to this 抱擁する 原因(となる). It’s not all about getting naked, it’s about raising money for a hugely important 原因(となる).

“There’s a tribe feeling. People are feeling a little bit ぎこちない and giddy, but we are all the same.

“People of all ages are here, 癌 doesn’t 差別する.”

Bernie Murray, from Bray outside Dublin, was 診断するd with breast 癌 in 2005.

“I thought my world was over, I had a 13-year-old daughter and was a 選び出す/独身 parent,” she said.

“But with the help and support of friends and family, I got through it.

“This is my second year doing it and it makes me feel 権力を与えるd.

“Anyone that is 苦しむing ? keep fighting.”

Orla Farrelly was joined by her mother and aunts after her grandmother died within six months of 存在 診断するd with pancreatic 癌.

Her aunt Tricia said: “Mam’s ca ncer 旅行 was very short.

“She was a wonderful woman who was the 社債 that kept our family all together.

“We are delighted to do this in memory of her.”
