激しい downpours 原因（となる） flooding and travel disruption
Half a month’s 価値（がある） of rain has fallen in 24 hours across parts of the country, 主要な to flooding and travel disruption.
The Met Office has 問題／発行するd a yellow 天候 警告 for rain across parts of the Midlands, the North West of England, Northern Ireland and south-west Scotland until midnight on Sunday.
予報官s said that parts of the North West had seen 40mm to 50mm of rain in about 24 hours, with 52.2mm 記録，記録的な／記録するd between 11am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday at Greenfield 近づく Oldham.

Parts of the North West were 攻撃する，衝突する with floods with cars left almost fully 潜水するd.
Greater Manchester Police on Sunday morning tweeted a picture of a Lamborghini which it said had 衝突，墜落d into the 味方する of the road after its driver lost 支配（する）／統制する on standing water.
