会議 厳重取締り on pupils going on 気候 strikes
Pupils will now only be authorised to 行方不明になる school to go on 気候 strikes once a year after a 決定／判定勝ち（する） by Edinburgh City 会議.

Pupils had 以前 been turning up to 抗議する outside the Scottish 議会 on an “広告 hoc” basis, with 許可 first 認めるd by the 会議 in March.
It was the first 地元の 当局 in Scotland to make such a move.
Now, absences to 抗議する that are not part of the agreed day off during the academic year will be 記録，記録的な／記録するd as unauthorised, with “parental 同意” 要求するd.

More 活動／戦闘 is planned by the Scottish 青年 気候 Strike (SYCS) group on September 20 and 27 as part of what has become a continuing 全世界の movement started by 16-year-old Greta Thunberg.
Sandy Boyd, of SYCS, told the PA news 機関 after the 会合: “It’s a little disappointing, but they have given us 許可 for one strike a year.
“We will keep striking no 事柄 what and we will keep challenging the 会議 on this.”

“However, there needs to be a balance struck and if we 許す pupils more than one absence the 問題／発行する is that they could be 定期的に 行方不明の school which 影響する／感情s their education.
“We are also encouraging schools to support pupils in any 事業／計画（する）s which help educate them in school about 気候 change.”
