Richard Leonard calls for clarity on 労働´s Brexit 姿勢

Richard Leonard has called for clarity on 労働’s 姿勢 over the next steps of Brexit.

The Scottish 労働 leader, in Brighton for the party 会議/協議会, 賞賛するd Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership but said he would support the party taking a remain 姿勢 as Brexit 会談 rumble on.

示す Drakeford, leader of Welsh 労働, also 始める,決める out his 立ち往生させる on Sunday morning for a (選挙などの)運動をする to remain (人命などを)奪う,主張するing up to 50,000 職業s could be lost in the country by a “衝突,墜落-out Brexit”.

Speaking on the BBC’s Sunday Politics Scotland programme, Mr Leonard 輪郭(を描く)d the 決定/判定勝ち(する) made by the Scottish (n)役員/(a)執行力のある from his own 提案 to bring any 取引,協定 決定/判定勝ち(する) 支援する to the public.

He said: “The Scottish 労働 party took a 決定/判定勝ち(する) 率直に in the wake of the European party 選挙 results that we needed to be much clearer, that we needed much greater clarity about the position that we were taking.

“For that 推論する/理由 the Scottish (n)役員/(a)執行力のある of the 労働 party 支援するd my 提案 that we call for an affirmative 投票(する) that any 取引,協定 should go 支援する to the public; secondly, that on that 投票(する) there should be a remain 選択; and thirdly, that we would (選挙などの)運動をする unambiguously for remain.

“I would support the party taking that 姿勢. I do think the time has come for clarity on this question and the Scottish 労働 party, the Welsh 労働 party take a 類似の 見解(をとる) that we should be more overtly remain.

“But I think the 重要な thing where we are in the chronology of Brexit is that Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership has 軍隊d Boris Johnson into a position where he’s got no 委任統治(領) for his position of a no-取引,協定 Brexit and he’s also embraced the idea and said categorically that 労働 would put any 取引,協定 支援する to the people.”

Mr Leonard also threw his support behind 同盟(する) Mr Corbyn, who earlier on Sunday 公約するd to serve a 十分な 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 as 首相 if the party 勝利,勝つs the next 総選挙.

He 追加するd: “Jeremy Corbyn has been 極端に strong in his leadership in getting the 野党s to get together and 封鎖する the Boris Johnson no-取引,協定 Brexit 計画(する). We’ll need to see whether Boris Johnson がまんするs by that 決定/判定勝ち(する) of 議会 and that 法律.

“I think it gets into very 利益/興味ing 領土 where there is a 総理大臣 who in my 見解(をとる) has got no 委任統治(領) as 首相 for his 政府, who is standing on a 政策 which is in 影響 no-取引,協定 Brexit, for which there is no 委任統治(領) either.

“The position is that we’ve said we want to put any 取引,協定 支援する to the people and we’ve said in doing that we want a remain 選択 to be on the 投票(する) paper ? but there would by the same 記念品 be a leave 選択 on the 投票(する) paper too.

“I guess the question is around what form that leave 選択 would take and so there’s been discussion about what the red lines of a 労働 政府 交渉 with the EU would be.”

委任統治(領)s (機の)カム into question again when the MSP was also asked about another Scottish independence 国民投票.

Mr Leonard was 以前 been against the idea, but has come into line with Mr Corbyn’s position that it would not 完全に be off the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する after a few years of a 労働 政府.

He said: “The 労働 position going into the 総選挙 whenever it comes will be that we …に反対する the 創造 of a separate Scottish 明言する/公表する, that we …に反対する independence and therefore that we …に反対する the 持つ/拘留するing of a second independence 国民投票.

“Where there has been some discussion is around if there was to be a 新たにするd 委任統治(領) which showed not only 選挙(人)の but demonstrable public support for the 持つ/拘留するing of a second 国民投票 ? then there would need to be some consideration given to that.

“We had an independence 国民投票 just five years ago and that’s got to be a factor in considering whether the circumstances are 権利 for a s econd independence 国民投票 to be held.

“All of the 証拠 shows that even people who 投票(する)d yes in 2014, even some people who are supporting the SNP, do not think that the time is now for a second independence 国民投票.

“The circumstances under which the 2014 国民投票 were held were that the SNP had 伸び(る)d an 全体にわたる 大多数 ? 前例のない, 完全に 予期しない ? and there was an understanding that there had never been an independence 国民投票 and the time might be 権利 to 実験(する) it.

“What I’m 説 is I don’t see the circumstances today and I don’t see them in the foreseeable 未来 where we would be 支援する in that 肉親,親類d of space again.”
