William: Africa 持つ／拘留するs a special place in my heart
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have told African leaders about their aspiration to 小旅行する the continent which 持つ／拘留するs “a very special place” in William’s heart.
In a speech during a Buckingham Palace 歓迎会 for 委任する／代表s …に出席するing the UK-Africa 投資 首脳会議, William movingly 述べるd how it was the place he visited after the death of his mother Diana, Princess of むちの跡s, and where he 提案するd to his wife.
It was the first time the duke and duchess had hosted a 歓迎会 for world leaders on に代わって of the Queen, and was another milestone in their 旅行 to one day becoming king and queen.
Earlier, the Duke of Sussex carried out what is likely to be one of his few remaining 公式の／役人 約束／交戦s when he met some of the leaders during the 首脳会議 行う／開催する／段階d in London for audiences ? one-to-one 会合s.

With Kate by his 味方する, William told the 首相s and 大統領，／社長s at the Buckingham Palace 歓迎会: “The African continent 持つ／拘留するs a very special place in my heart. It is the place my father took my brother and me すぐに after our mother died.

“And when deciding where best to 提案する to Catherine, I could think of no more fitting place than Kenya to get 負かす／撃墜する on one 膝.
“Throughout my life, I have been lucky enough to spend time in many other parts of Africa. I’m also honoured to be the Patron of the 王室の African Society.
“And as Catherine and I have said to several of you here tonight, we hope to have the chance to visit many more countries in the 未来 and 株 our 相互の love of your continent with our children.”
William was 15 and Harry was just 12 when their mother was killed in a car 衝突，墜落 in Paris on August 31 1997.
