大臣 raises 関心s over `unintentional bias´ against women in healthcare
女性（の） 患者s を煩う an “unintentional bias” against them in the healthcare system, a health 大臣 has said に引き続いて a scathing 報告（する）／憶測 into three NHS スキャンダルs.
Nadine Dorries told MPs this is proven by the 量 of time it takes for women to have their 発言する／表明するs heard and （民事の）告訴s taken 本気で.
The former nurse 追加するd that the number of 調査s taking place into women-only 問題／発行するs also 最高潮の場面d the bias, and said she hopes such 調査s will 許す the “スポットライト to be shone on them”.
Ms Dorries’ 発言／述べるs （機の）カム after she 問題／発行するd a ありふれたs 陳謝 on に代わって of the 政府 to thousands of 患者s 影響する／感情d by surgical mesh, the anti-epileptic 麻薬 ナトリウム valproate, and the hormone pregnancy 実験（する） Primodos.
All three スキャンダルs were 調査／捜査するd as part of the scathing Cumberlege Review.
It 結論するd that thousands of women and children had come to “avoidable 害（を与える）” and their 関心s were “解任するd and overlooked”, with the “system-wide probl ems” 設立する “ありそうもない to be unique to those three areas”.

Speaking in the ありふれたs, the SNP’s Patricia Gibson (North Ayrshire and Arran) said “one of the most 乱すing 面s” of the 報告（する）／憶測 was how women were “解任するd” when 報告（する）／憶測ing 関心s and debilitating 苦痛.
Ms Gibson asked Ms Dorries if she had any 計画（する）s to review “male bias” across the NHS, 含むing devolved 政府s.
Ms Dorries said she agreed “100%” with the 問題／発行するs raised, 追加するing: “My team of 公式の／役人s and I, from the very first day that I arrived in the department, have been looking at a women’s 協議事項 and looking at the way women in so many areas of healthcare, there does appear to be an unintentional bias ? I’m not 説 it’s intentional, I wouldn’t use the word ‘misogyny’, but there is an unintentional bias.
“It’s proven by the 量 of time it takes for women to have their 発言する／表明するs heard, for their （民事の）告訴s to be taken 本気で.
“And, yes, addre ssing that is 絶対 a 優先.”
Ms Dorries 追加するd: “Surely it must be obvious with the 量 of 調査s we’re having into women-only 問題／発行するs, I’d hope by us 最高潮の場面ing that and bringing it here, not 存在 afraid to ask for 調査s when we see bias taking place, is 肉親，親類d of like 向こうずねing sunlight on it.
“Only by 開始 up these 問題／発行するs, only by 許すing a スポットライト to be shone on them and not to be afraid of what we find can we go anywhere に向かって 演説（する）／住所ing this.”
影をつくる／尾行する health 大臣 Alex Norris said: “Ignored, belittled, derided, gas-lit ? those who have （選挙などの）運動をするd to 最高潮の場面 the 害（を与える） 原因（となる）d by Primodos, ナトリウム valproate and pelvic mesh have been called every 指名する under the sun, but today they are one thing alone: proven 権利.”
Mr Norris said all three 問題／発行するs 影響する／感情d women, 追加するing: “This is 明確に no coincidence and I was glad to see the 大臣 言及／関連 the healthcare system must do better to 保護する women because these 事例／患者s reek of misogyny from 最高の，を越す to 底（に届く）, and ageism and ableism 同様に.”
Stephanie Peacock, 労働 MP for Barnsley East, said: “For too long 女性（の） 患者s have had 手足を不自由にする／（物事を）損なうing 苦痛 解任するd as women’s problems.”
開始 her 声明 to the ありふれたs, Ms Dorries said: “I would like to make an 陳謝 to those people on に代わって of the health and care 部門 for the time the system took to listen and 答える／応じる to those women, to their children and their families.”
The 中央の Bedfordshire Tory MP said the 政府 will be “taking time to 吸収する” the review’s findings before it 答える／応じるs, and 追加するd that stories from 患者s have been at times “harrowing” and “率直に beyond belief”.
“What is （疑いを）晴らす, and I’m sure the whole House will 同意する, is that the 返答 to these 問題／発行するs from those in positions of 当局 has not always been good enough,” she said.
“The 仕事 now is to 設立する a quicker and more compassionate way to 演説（する）／住所 the 問題／発行するs of 患者 害（を与える） when they arise.
“We must en sure the system as a whole is vigilant in spotting safety 関心s and we 速く get to 支配するs with the 関心s identified by this 報告（する）／憶測.
“We must make sure that different 発言する／表明するs are 招待するd to the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する and we must also make sure that 患者s and their families have a （疑いを）晴らす pathway to get their answers and a 決意／決議.”
Ms Dorries also told MPs: “We need to make listening a much stronger part of 臨床の practice and make the 関係 between 患者s and clinicians a true and equal 共同.”
