DCMS 報告(する)/憶測 (人命などを)奪う,主張するs `現在の football 商売/仕事 model is not 維持できる´

Up to 15 professional football clubs are in danger of going 破産した/(警察が)手入れする as the coronavirus pandemic 悪化させるs a “broken” 商売/仕事 model, MPs have 警告するd.

The 警告を与える features in a stark 報告(する)/憶測 from the 数字表示式の, Culture, マスコミ and Sport 委員会 into the 衝撃 of Covid-19 on 冒険的な and cultural 部門s.

Sport has been 厳しく 衝撃d at recreational and professional levels and there are 恐れるs for the 未来 of 非常に/多数の organisations.

ーに関して/ーの点でs of football, the 委員会 has called for a “reset” of the game’s 財政上の 操作/手術, 特に in the lower leagues, with the cash-rich 首相 League doing more to help.

“The 現在の football 商売/仕事 model is not 維持できる,” the 報告(する)/憶測 from the DCMS 委員会, which scrutinises the work of the Department for 数字表示式の, Culture, マスコミ and Sport, read.

“The Covid-19 危機 has shone a stark light on the 財政上の 問題/発行するs within football.

“The 首相 League is the main income 発生させる人(物) of English football. If it does not step up to help the English Football League, many more clubs will follow in Bury FC’s footsteps.”

委員会 議長,司会を務める, Julian Knight MP, told the PA news 機関: “There are 10-15 clubs on a watchlist 権利 now ーに関して/ーの点でs of whether they go 破産した/(警察が)手入れする. That’s from the EFL. That is one in five.

“That would be 絶対 悲劇の for many communities around the country. There needs to be a reset.

“This has been broken for years but the fact EFL clubs (now) cannot get people through their turnstiles means some of them are 効果的に 直面するing 絶滅. They don’t have the big TV 取引,協定s that the 首相 League does.

“Any idea there would be a 政府 bailout is for the birds, in my 見解(をとる), when there is a £9billion TV 取引,協定 at the very 最高の,を越す of football. The football family needs to come together and work together ーするために sort this out.”

The 報告(する)/憶測 also 示唆するs パラシュート(で降下する) 支払い(額)s should be scrapped, as they distort the pla ying field, and that salary caps should be introduced.

After a three-month 停止, the 首相 League and 選手権 再開するd 競争 in June behind の近くにd doors. With broadcast 歳入 to support it, 実験(する) cricket and ゴルフ have also 再開するd in the country.

This has not been an 選択 for sports ? and in the wider world theatres and music 発生地s ? that are more 扶養家族 on 支払う/賃金ing audiences.

The 報告(する)/憶測, which is ひどく 批判的な of the 速度(を上げる) of the 政府’s 返答 to the problems in other cultural 部門s, calls for 現在進行中の support for organisations. It also says there should be greater co-操作/手術 from all 伴う/関わるd to find 解答s to 限界 the 衝撃 of distancing 必要物/必要条件s on audience sizes.

Knight said: “We are in danger, if we are not careful, of becoming a bit of a cultural wasteland. We are a world leader when it comes to culture and the 損失 that is 存在 done 権利 now, if it is not confidently and 敏速に 演説(する)/住所d, could lead to 普及した 破壊 of our cultural and 冒険的な 組織/基盤/下部構造.

“That’s where we’re coming from, trying to make suggestions to the 政府, and also find ways in which organisations should work to 効果的に find a way through this and make sure we have still got a strong 冒険的な and cultural 組織/基盤/下部構造 in 18 months to two years’ time, when hopefully we will be through this collectively.

“We need a way in which we can 現実に have these 発生地s 再開するing, in the medium 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語, without social distancing because it doesn’t work.”

On a recreational level, the 報告(する)/憶測 calls for DCMS to 始める,決める up an “activity 基金” to 確実にする people 逆に 影響する/感情d by lockdown “含むing older people, BAME people, 無能にするd people, women, people from lower socio-経済的な backgrounds and those unable to 接近 physical activity content online” are not left behind.

There is also a section on how women’s エリート sport has been 不均衡な 衝撃d and calls for 冒険的な 団体/死体s to 限界 this.

R esponding to the 報告(する)/憶測, a DCMS spokesperson said: “We have been (疑いを)晴らす that 財政/金融s from the 再開 of the sport at the 最高の,を越す level must support the wider football family, and we continue to have discussions with the 当局 on how football can 確実にする that it is 維持できる.

“Last week we 輪郭(を描く)d 計画(する)s to help sports begin to 安全に 再開する their doors to fans in the coming months.

“We have also committed to a review of football governance, with input from fans, which will also 含む consideration of the owners’ and directors’ 実験(する). その上の 詳細(に述べる)s on this will be 発表するd in 予定 course.”

With regards to the 役割 of DCMS, Knight feels it has become 明らかな the department is underfunded.

He said: “I think that one of the things we identified is that DCMS itself is a Cinderella organisation.

“I think it’s about 0.5 per cent of 政府 spending, yet it accounts for one 4半期/4分の1 of the economy. That doesn’t marry up.

“I would say that there is a real 問題/発行する at the heart of 政府 over the 力/強力にする of DCMS and how much 負わせる it has vis-a-vis the 財務省 and, in that regard, whether it is 適切に equipped to see us through this.”
