Indoor visits 延期するd as care homes go without 正規の/正選手 実験(する)s

Care homes in England have been without 正規の/正選手 coronavirus 実験(する)s for over a fortnight, a 主要な provider said, after the 政府 said a 確かな 道具 should not be used while it 調査/捜査するs safety 関心s.

Methodist Homes (MHA) said it has entered its third week without 決まりきった仕事 実験(する)ing for staff and 居住(者)s に引き続いて safety 問題/発行するs identified with Randox 実験(する)s in 中央の June.

More than two thirds of its care homes (67 out of 90) do not have 接近 to 決まりきった仕事 実験(する)ing, 延期するing the 再開 of indoor visits.

On June 16, Health 長官 Matt Hancock told MPs he had become aware of some 実験(する) swabs “that are not up to the usual high 基準 that we 推定する/予想する”.

He said: “As a 予防の 手段, and while we 調査/捜査する その上の, we’re requesting the use of these Randox swab 実験(する) 道具s are paused in all settings until その上の notice.”

MHA, which has 222 care homes and 計画/陰謀s across the UK, said it was “yet another blow” for the 部門.

It comes just over a week after the 政府 gave care homes the green light to 許す loved ones to visit 居住(者)s after months apart.

It is understood some care homes had 再開するd socially distanced outdoors visits in previous weeks, 失望させるd at a 欠如(する) of pace from the 政府 in bringing out the 指導/手引.

The 欠如(する) of 決まりきった仕事 実験(する)ing means the 影響する/感情d homes cannot 再開する indoor visits for the family members of 居住(者)s who are unable to go outside, because they may be too ill or frail.

長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Sam Monaghan said it was an understatement to say the organisation was “disappointed and 失望させるd by this 最新の 失敗 in the care home 実験(する)ing 政権”.

He continued: “We have 主張するd from 早期に on that the 証拠 pointed to 正規の/正選手, 決まりきった仕事 実験(する)ing in care homes as the best means of controlling the spread of the ウイルス in care settings.

“For a few weeks it felt like we could start to re-introduce some 外見 of normality 支援する into our homes, welcoming 支援する health 訪問者s, outdoor socially distanced visits where it was 安全な to do so and を待つing the green light from 地元の public health for more family 接触する.

“We are now 長,率いるing into our third week of no 実験(する)ing for the 大多数 of our care homes に引き続いて the Randox debacle and we understand it will be weeks before it is 修正するd.”

MHA has not been told when to 推定する/予想する 交替/補充 道具s.

Care UK, which runs 114 care homes in England, has written to 親族s of 居住(者)s to say they are all “finding it ますます difficult to 接近 正規の/正選手 実験(する)ing”.

The letter, from 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Andrew Knight, 示唆するs it will be a 最小限 five-week wait before most of its homes in England can 接近 another 一連の会議、交渉/完成する of 実験(する)ing.

It reads: “We have been 調査するing 選択s for 個人として-基金d 実験(する)ing, but as yet have been unable to identify a 供給者 who is able to reliably support us at the 規模 we 要求する. This experience is mirrored across other major care organisations.

“I am sure many of you will find this 状況/情勢 as disappointing as I do, 特に given the 肯定的な messages the 政府 is still 問題/発行するing about the 規模 of the 実験(する)ing programme it is 恐らく 申し込む/申し出ing.”

The Department of Health and Social Care said care home 実験(する)ing has not stopped, and any 居住(者) or staff member with symptoms can get 実験(する)d.

A 広報担当者 said: “A combination of 問題/発行するs have meant that a more 限られた/立憲的な number of 実験(する)ing 道具s, which are predominantly used in care homes, are 現在/一般に 利用できる and we are 一時的に constrained in our ability to do as much asymptomatic 実験(する)ing as we want.

“We are working around the clock to 確実にする there is 最小限 disruption to repeat asymptomatic 実験(する)ing and get our capacity 支援する on 跡をつける as soon as possible.”
