Captain Sir Tom Moore receives 名誉として与えられる freedom of his home town
Captain Sir Tom Moore has been awarded the freedom of his home town for his 優れた fundraising 成果／努力s.
He 述べるd becoming an 名誉として与えられる freeman of Keighley, West Yorkshire, as a “特権”, 追加するing: “I remain truly humbled and 感謝する for the support I have received from far and wide but the warm 歓迎会 I have received coming home is 特に special to me.

The 100-year-old Second World War 退役軍人, who has raised almost £33 million for the NHS, was 迎える／歓迎するd by an honour guard from members of the Yorkshire 連隊 for the special 儀式 at the Town Hall Square in Keighley town centre.
His family also watched as a plaque was 明かすd in his honour.
Captain Sir Tom had 始める，決める out to raise £1,000 by walking 100 （競技場の）トラック一周s of his garden in the village of Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire before his 100th birthday on April 30.

Mr Corkindale said: “I know from speaking to many people in Keighley, the 偉業／利用するs of Captain Sir Tom Moore during lockdown was just the 選ぶ-me-up they needed.
“I am not sure he will ever realise just what a difference he has made to so many people up and 負かす／撃墜する the country.”
