Hope for 癌 患者s as 放射線療法 services 再開する pre-pandemic activity
放射線療法 services in England have returned to pre-pandemic levels, new 人物／姿／数字s show.
The number of 治療s where 放射（能） is used to kill 癌 独房s dipped in March and April but by June they were operating at usual capacity.
癌 charities had 以前 raised 関心s about disruption to services during the pandemic.
But 人物／姿／数字s from the NHS in England show that in April there were 8,253 治療s 配達するd, compared to 10,233 in April 2019, a 下落する of 19%.
In May there was a 12% 削減.
But by June services had returned the same levels seen in June in 2019.

In June this year there were 9,474 放射線療法 治療s carried out compared to 9,506 in June 2019.

Using this 正確な type of 放射線療法, which uses higher doses of 放射（能）, 要求するs around five outpatient visits to hospital compared with up to 30 hospital visits with 従来の 放射線療法.

It comes as 増加するing numbers of people have been referred for 癌 checks, with 45,000 extra referrals in June compared to May.
