The 陪審/陪審員団 in the 裁判,公判 of a butcher (刑事)被告 of 強姦ing and 殺人ing a 21-year-old student has heard a 証言,証人/目撃する 述べる 審理,公聴会 叫び声をあげるs of “desperation” on the night she disappeared.

The 起訴 主張するs that the 船体 居住(者) woke up and saw out of his window the 被告 Pawel Relowicz, 26, “moving with 目的” away from the scene.

The ポーランドの(人)-born father of-two, from Raglan Street, 船体, 否定するs 殺人ing and 強姦ing 21-year-old philosophy student Libby Squire, who went 行方不明の に引き続いて a night out in February 2019.

But the noise was intermittent and he heard more 叫び声をあげるing coming from the playing fields.

Mr Alford said: “I could tell they were human, I could tell it was a 女性(の) 叫び声をあげる.

“The screa ms were enough to make me think ‘what could that be?’

“It was not constant, it was intermittent, that’s what stood out to me.”

Richard Wright QC, 起訴するing, asked what the 叫び声をあげるs 伝えるd to him.

Mr Alford replied: “Like, desperation.”

He said the 叫び声をあげるing went on for an 概算の four to seven minutes.

After going to the 洗面所 簡潔に, he looked out of his window, on to a skate park, but could not see anything 最初.

Mr Alford said there was a 十分な moon and snow, so the visibility was good, and after a few minutes he saw a man crossing the park.

He told the 陪審/陪審員団: “There was an 緊急 about the way he was moving.

“He was moving with a 目的, he didn’t look 支援する once.”

The man was wearing tightly-fitted joggers or ジーンズs, Mr Alford said, and a 爆撃機 jacket, and did not look 適切な dressed for the 天候 that night.

The 起訴 主張する that Relowicz took Ms Squire to the secluded playing fields after 選ぶing her up in his car and that he 強姦d and 殺人d her there.

Ms Squire ? who was a student at the University of 船体 but 初めは from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire ? had been 辞退するd 入ること/参加(者) to a nightclub because she was drunk, and had been given 申し込む/申し出s of help by people on the night she went 行方不明の.

Dr Lyall said hypothermia, 溺死するing or asphyxia were all possible, in his 結論.
