Sri Lanka asks 中国 to defer arrival of ship after India 反対するs
COLOMBO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Sri Lanka has asked 中国 to defer the planned visit of a Chinese 調査する ship to the island country after an 反対 from India, a 政府 source told Reuters on Sunday.
The Chinese 研究 and 調査する 大型船, Yuan Wang 5, was still on its way to Sri Lanka's Hambantota port. It is scheduled to arrive there on Aug. 11, によれば shipping data from Refinitiv.
India worries that the Chinese-built and 賃貸し（する）d port of Hambantota will be used by 中国 as a 軍の base in India's backyard. The $1.5 billion port is 近づく the main shipping 大勝する from Asia to Europe.
中国's foreign 省 did not すぐに 答える／応じる to a request for comment on Sunday.
Last week, a spokesperson for the Sri Lankan 政府 said the ship was only stopping at Hambantota for refuelling.
中国 is one of Sri Lanka's biggest 貸す人s and has also 財政／金融d airports, roads and 鉄道s, unsettling India.
As Sri Lanka 戦う／戦いs its worst 経済的な 危機 in seven １０年間s, India this year alone has 供給するd it nearly $4 billion in support.
