BRASILIA, Dec 26 (Reuters) - A man 逮捕(する)d for 試みる/企てるing to 始める,決める off a 爆弾 in 抗議する against Brazil's 選挙 result was 奮起させるd to build up an 兵器庫 by far-権利 大統領 Jair Bolsonaro's call to 武器, によれば a copy of his police 証言 seen by Reuters.

George Washington de Oliveira Sousa was 逮捕(する)d on Saturday, the day after police said they 失敗させる/負かすd his 陰謀(を企てる) to 始める,決める off an 爆発性の 装置 近づく the Brasilia airport.

"My trip to Brasilia was so I could join the 抗議するs in 前線 of the army (警察,軍隊などの)本部 and wait for the 武装した 軍隊s to 権限を与える me to (問題を)取り上げる 武器 and destroy 共産主義," he said, によれば the copy of his 証言.

Sousa said he had become a 登録(する)d gun-owner, known as CAC, in October last year, joining a group that has swelled sixfold to nearly 700,000 people since Bolsonaro was elected in 2018 and began 緩和するing gun 法律s.

He said he had 投資するd nearly 160,000 reais ($30,800) since then to grow his 兵器庫. He said he took two 12-計器 shotguns, two revolvers, three ピストルs, a ライフル銃/探して盗む, over a thousand 一連の会議、交渉/完成するs and five sticks of dynamite with him on his 運動 to Brasilia.

"What 動機づけるd me to buy the guns were the words of 大統領 Bolsonaro, who always 強調するd the importance of 非軍事のs 存在 武装した by 説, 'An 武装した 全住民 will never be enslaved,'" Sousa said.

He 追加するd that he planned to 株 his 武器s with other CAC-支えるもの/所有者s in the Brasilia (軍の)野営地,陣営. On Dec. 12, the day Lula's victory was certified, some of the (軍の)野営地,陣営-dwellers attacked the 連邦の police HQ in Brasilia.

Sousa said he enjoyed some level of 公式の/役人 support.

After the Dec. 12 attack, he said police and firemen 近づく the (軍の)野営地,陣営 told him they would not 逮捕(する) any 抗議する人s for vandalism, as long as they did not attack 警官,(賞などを)獲得するs. Their comments led him to believe that "the 武装した 軍隊s' 介入 would be 宣言するd soon."

But as the weeks passed without a クーデター, he said he and others in the (軍の)野営地,陣営 (機の)カム up with a 計画(する) to 妨げる Lula from taking office. Their idea, he said, was "to 刺激する a 軍の 介入 and the 法令 of a 明言する/公表する of 包囲 to 妨げる the 取り付け・設備 of 共産主義 in Brazil."

An 初期の 計画/陰謀 was to 爆発する a 爆弾 in the car park of Brasilia's airport, followed by 匿名の/不明の tips of two m 鉱石 爆弾s in the 出発 lounge, he said. The plotters also considered blowing up an 電気の sub-駅/配置する, he 追加するd.

Sousa told police he built the 爆弾 on Dec. 23, using the dynamite he had brought with him from Para, and a remote 誘発する/引き起こすing 装置 that someone else in the (軍の)野営地,陣営 gave him. He said he 手渡すd the 爆弾 to a fellow (軍の)野営地,陣営-dweller, asking him to 任命する/導入する it by the sub-駅/配置する as "I did not agree with the idea of 爆発するing it in the airport carpark."
