French 政府 gives EDF's Remont six months to 地図／計画する out 戦略 - letter

PARIS, Jan 6 (Reuters) - The French 政府 has given Luc Remont, the new 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある of EDF, six months to come up with a 戦略の 計画（する） for the 負債-laden 公共事業（料金）／有用性 which shoulders the lion's 株 of the country's electricity 供給（する）s.
In a three-page letter 調印するd by 総理大臣 Elisabeth Borne and sent to Remont and 時代遅れの Dec.9, the 政府 asked him to 大打撃を与える out a "new 戦略の roadmap" for 操作／手術s and 財政／金融s in the first half of the year. The letter, first 報告（する）／憶測d by newspaper Les Echos, was seen by Reuters on Friday.
EDF, already 大多数-owned by the French 明言する／公表する and in the 過程 of 存在 fully nationalised, is 直面するing 圧力 after an 前例のない number of 原子炉 outages, which 減ずるd last year's 核の 生産（高） to 30-year low.
The company has 逮捕する 負債 of over 40 billion euros 重さを計るing on its 調書をとる／予約するs. It is one of Europe's biggest 公共事業（料金）／有用性s and is central to フラン's 核の 戦略, which the 政府 is banking on to blunt the 衝撃 of 急に上がるing energy prices 悪化させるd by the war in ウクライナ共和国.
Borne in the letter said EDF should 始める，決める new ambitious 的s this month for 改善するd 核の 生産（高）.
She called for 予算 discipline regarding new 核の 事業／計画（する）s after EDF's next-世代 原子炉 事業／計画（する） in Flamanville 苦しむd 非常に／多数の cost 侵略（する）／超過（する）s and 延期するs.
The 首相 said she 手配中の，お尋ね者 the Flamanville 工場／植物 to start producing energy in the second half of this year.
On Dec. 16, a week after Borne's letter, EDF said the Flamanville EPR 原子炉, already a １０年間 behind schedule, was now 推定する／予想するd
to start 操作／手術s in the first ４半期/4分の1 of 2024 and cost 13.2 billion euros
- an 付加 延期する of at least six more months and a cost 増加する of 500 million euros from the last, January 2022 予測（する）.
When the Flamanville 事業／計画（する） was first 発表するd in 2004, it was 概算の it would cost 3 billion euros and would start 操作／手術s in 2012.
