'Bridgerton' spin-off goes 支援する in time to show 'Queen Charlotte' origins

LONDON, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Queen Charlotte, the brazen and 干渉 君主 in the 攻撃する，衝突する Netflix period 演劇 "Bridgerton", gets her own spin-off series showing the popular character's origin story.
"Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton story", which will 首相 on the streaming 壇・綱領・公約 on May 4, goes 支援する in time to tell the 君主's rise to 力／強力にする and love life.
The six-episode series is the first spin-off from "Bridgerton", 始める，決める in Regency London and whose first series became a 全世界の 現象 when it was 解放（する）d in late 2020 and won 賞賛する for its diverse cast.
"I really loved the fact that we could 拡大する the universe and show people how the 'Bridgerton' world that they know （機の）カム to be," Shonda Rhimes, (n)役員／(a)執行力のある 生産者 for both "Bridgerton" and "Queen Charlotte", told fans at a teaser trailer 明らかにする／漏らす event on Tuesday.
"You get to see how stories from the past educate you on the stories in the 未来... You get the see the growth and who they ('Bridgerton' characters) become."
With two time lines, Golda Rosheuvel reprises her "Bridgerton" 役割 as the 君主 in the new series while India Amarteifio, whose past credits 含む 外見s in television shows "Sex Education", "Line of 義務" and "Doctor Who", plays the young Queen Charlotte.
"There's so much time between our show... and the 'Bridgerton' that we've all come to know... which for us actors is 広大な／多数の／重要な because it gives us the liberty of creating our own characters," Amarteifio said.
"You don't know their origin story, there's enough time for them to be 完全に different people for us to create 完全に unique characters... I know what she's like in 未来 but to be able to crea te the 創立／基礎s for that was exciting for me."
On Tuesday, fans got to see a teaser trailer 同様に as clips from "Queen Charlotte", which also features other "Bridgerton" cast members 含むing Ruth Gemmell, who plays Lady Violet, and Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury.
