Panthers 追加する Jim Caldwell, Duce Staley to staff
The Carolina Panthers 雇うd former two-time NFL 長，率いる coach Jim Caldwell as a 上級の assistant and Duce Staley as running 支援するs coach/assistant 長，率いる coach on Tuesday.
Caldwell, 68, will 報告（する）／憶測 直接／まっすぐに to 長，率いる coach Frank Reich and help out on all three 段階s -- 罪／違反, 弁護 and special teams, the team 発表するd.
He becomes the second coach to join the Panthers after interviewing for the 長，率いる coaching vacancy that 結局 went to Reich. 防御の 調整者／コーディネーター Ejiro Evero is the other.
The 雇う 再会させるs Caldwell and Reich, who both coached on Tony Dungy's staff in Indianapolis starting in 2006. Reich was an 抑留する then while Caldwell was assistant 長，率いる coach/quarterbacks coach. Reich became Caldwell's QBs coach in Indy when the latter was 雇うd to 取って代わる a retiring Dungy in 2009.
Caldwell went 62-50 as 長，率いる coach for the Colts (2009-11) and Detroit Lions (2014-17), taking each team to the postseason twice. He was also a 長，率いる coach at Wake Forest from 1993-2000.
Staley, 47, will 再会させる with Reich after the former served as the Philadelphia Eagles running 支援するs coach during the team's 2017 最高の Bowl 肩書を与える run. Staley was running 支援するs coach/assistant 長，率いる coach with the Lions for the past two seasons.
Staley 急ぐd for 5,785 yards and 24 touchdowns in his 10-year career with the Eagles (1997-2003) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2004-06). He also finished with 287 歓迎会s for 2,587 yards and 10 TDs.

The Panthers are also interviewing for the 不快な／攻撃 調整者／コーディネーター 役割 after parting ways with Ben McAdoo. They're 報道によれば interviewing the 押し通すs' Thomas Brown a second time. Brown, however, is also an OC 候補者 for Tampa Bay.
