ソウル 市長 calls for South Korean 核の 武器s to 反対する 脅し from North

SEOUL, March 13 (Reuters) - South Korea should build 核の 武器s to 支える its defences against North Korea, even at the 危険 of international repercussions, the 市長 of its 資本／首都 city said, arguing that the country cannot be bound by the goal of denuclearisation.
In an 排除的 interview with Reuters, ソウル 市長 Oh Se-hoon 追加するd new 燃料 to a growing 審議 over how South Korea should arm itself as the North races to perfect its 能力 to strike the South with 戦術の 核の 武器s.
"North Korea has nearly 後継するd in miniaturising and lightening 戦術の 核の 武器s and 安全な・保証するd at least dozens of 弾頭s," Oh said. "We've come to a point where it is difficult to 納得させる people with the logic that we should 差し控える from developing 核の 武器s and stick to the 原因（となる） of denuclearisation."
He has raised the 問題／発行する before, 説 in February that the South should keep the 核の 選択 利用できる. But his new comments are his strongest yet.
Oh, an 影響力のある member of 大統領 Yoon Suk Yeol's 保守的な People 力／強力にする Party, is one of the highest-profile 公式の／役人s to 活発に 支持する for a South Korean 核の 武器s programme.
He is seen as a likely 競争相手 for the 大統領／総裁などの地位 in 2027. As 市長, he 監督するs ソウル's 年次の civil defence 演習s and an 統合するd 安全 機械装置 目的（とする）d at 保護するing a 主要都市の area that is home to nearly half of the country's 51 million people.

As a 候補者, Yoon 提案するd the U.S. redeployment 選択, but his 行政 has since said it remains committed to denuclearisation and would 増強する 連合させるd 従来の defences with the U.S.
調査するs, however, show 前例のない levels of public support in South Korea for the once 考えられない idea of a homegrown 核の 兵器庫.
In a 投票 解放（する）d on March 1 by Data 研究, more than 70% of South Koreans supported developing 核の 武器s with 27% …に反対するd; 59% said North Korea would probably use 核の 武器s if war breaks out on the 半島.

"There may be some 初期の 抵抗 from the international community, but I believe that it will 伸び（る） more support 結局," he said.
