US 副大統領 Harris to 発表する new 大使館s, spending for Caribbean on trip

MEXICO CITY, June 8 (Reuters) - U.S. 副大統領 Kamala Harris will 発表する more than $100 million in new 援助 for the Caribbean when she visits the Bahamas on Thursday, 含むing the 設立 of two U.S. 大使館s.
Over $50 million will be spent on 人道的な 援助（する） for Haiti, a 上級の U.S. 行政 公式の／役人 said.
Harris, the highest-最高位の U.S. 公式の／役人 to visit the Bahamas since its independence in 1973, and Bahamas 総理大臣 Philip Davis will host Caribbean leaders in Nassau.
They will discuss topics 含むing 安全 and 小火器 trafficking to the 地域 and U.S.-Caribbean 成果／努力s to 答える／応じる to 気候 change.
The 公式の／役人 said the 大使館s would be in the eastern Caribbean but did not 公表する／暴露する 明確な／細部 場所s.
